I actually would like to see this continued. Not into a long sort of thing, but a short ficlet series I think would be really nice to read.

In a sad way, I completely agree with the Doctor. It is unfair that she is trapped in another world and the Doctor knows she's alive but can't do anything about it. Fantastic job. I especially love the last two lines: "So, yes, he wishes her dead. Because living without her is killing him." Probably one of the best endings I've ever read.

Oh, this was so brilliant. You took this eensy weensy little mention Rose got and gave it real feeling and emotion from the Doctor's point of view and put real reason and meaning behind his guilt. Really great writing, loved this. :3

Also, I always liked how when the Doctor said 'Give me someone I like' the TARDIS automatically assumed he meant Rose at first.

Ok. Wow. So. Where to begin.

Taking something so small, like this quick scene Moffat only put in for humor and to enlarge the fanbase, and making it so profound is incredible. Truly.

Now there were a few lines that stuck out to me, very, very impacting.

"Love was a broken man and a bright smile." that literally hit me like a wallop. Like, I felt that in my GUT. It's just...that single commentary alone was intense, more so than any of the other words surrounding it, honestly, not that they weren't also phenomenal.

I really love that insight of humans falling in love easier. I feel like that's true, that a Time Lord wouldn't. He's like you, one heart for creativity - for love - and the other for logic, cold and hard and reassuring.

Also LOVE LOVE LOVE the "Love was losing her" passage, that contrast with the concept of conventional, new-media love is brilliant, because it's true in its own way. You know youlove when you know you've lost. So i think anyway, you and the Doctor seem to agree.

Anyway, in just a few words, you've managed to build an incredible story centered around such a small part of the series - although, able as you did to make it so much bigger, broaden the scope and create such a stirring piece.
