I know what you mean; I usually don't like the ones where she is turned into a vampire. That's the one thing I'm kind of dreading about season 4; the loss of their human-vampire relationship. But the way that you did it was very beautiful, and tasteful.

Aww! This was SO romatinc and hot all at the same time. The gesture of the necklace was beyond romantic and it just melts my heart to think of Damon like this :)

I love the fact that she turned for him. I'm not a huge fan of her turning or being a vampire either, but I KNOW, like you, that when she'd be ready to make that choice, it would be for DAMON ;) Because she's going to have to at some point.

No, it was the perfect ending, the way the dialogue was going. I sincerely hope if they ever DO have Elena turn on the show, it's like this (well, it is on the CW and it is in primetime, so it wouldn't be "exactly" like this-lol). Wanting to stay with him "forever". *sigh*

Well, that certainly was a surprising ending! Maybe it was a bit quick for me: I can't imagine Elena deciding on turning on the spur of the moment, even if it is for Damon. I do agree that she will turn in the end, and that it will be for him, but not just yet. I too like the idea of Elena as a human for a little while longer. That being said, it was a very good one-shot! Damon's gift for Elena was sweet and very fitting, and Elena's gift for Damon... well, suffice it to say that she couldn't have given him anything better! Very hot too! I simply love your writing style :D

OMG why did you kill her at the end:( It was perfect just the way it started as the Christmas gift who would like to die at Christams gift even in bed with Damon?...(ok second thought I would! but maybe not during Christmas I like it:D)) really great story but I will not kill her at the end but still GREAT WORK

i really loved it that you turned her t be honest. i thought it fit very well with the story. im going to be doing the new years story for the exchange where it says we can change her and i think im gonna do it, im just nervous because i don't know how else it can be written other then breaking her neck. but the way you wrote it-all of the story- was beautiful. in my favorites hun!

I loved this story. I must say it was rather hot! I actually liked the ending. It's not something that would ever happen on the show, but that is what fan fic is for, right? Loved it!

I think it may have been too soon in their "relationship" to go for turning. BUT...that doesn't detract from the fact that this is a beautiful story. :)
