I don't know if I'm going to say this right but that was strangely SAD! I mean I get the fact that Murdock is crazy but for them to have to deal w/it and know it, but trying not to I guess acknowledge it, is what makes it sad...That was a great story!

This was really good. It was interesting to see the darker side of Murdock's problems. I always thought it couldn't possibally always be rainbows and butterflies for him. And B.A. at the end! Justice at last! "It's Captain Murdock" I would have given a million bucks just to see the nurses face when he said that! Way to be B.A.! It always drives me crazy when they call him Mister Murdock too. They have no respect for him there! Thank you so much for posting! Loved it!

I love this! The raw emotions are captured perfectly. My 15 year old daughter is reading the Silmarillion right now, almost finished with it in fact, and I know she'll love this. She's an avid LOTR fan, both movies and books. Because we share a love for several things (not LOTR for me, though) I've been trying to introduce her to The A Team. This might be a great "crossover" to do that. I feel sadder for Face and B. A. than I do Murdock. He'll get better when he switches personas. But B. A. will never be the same. And Face would hurt deeply every time his friend is too delusional to be safe on a mission. Gotta go now and favorite this to reread later.

Well, you did mess a bit with the timeline, but, I think, it worked. You're right, this is a meloncholy little story, but I really quite liked it. Having it from BA's pov was the perfect touch. AND the fact that he corrected the nurse was a wonderful mix of protective friend and stern observer... yet still very much in character to BA. Nicely done. :)
