I love the idea of Fate and Death, both eternal, contemplating something that is more unique than the norm!

Thank you for writing this from Death's perspective! You captured the rhythm of the way Death spoke in the show. Slow,unimaginably wise, and unimaginably weary of the sameness of it all.

It makes sense that an entity like Death could have found a way to break the binding Lucifer had on him, but the reason he didn't right away was because the situation might have intrigued him.

I liked how he could hear the whisper of his sister's voice as Fate teased him that he was going to enjoy it too.

And it is no wonder that Death would find Dean Winchester interesting. After all the eons of sameness there is something that is a little bit different about that boy for a change (LOL)

Just ran across this Awesome story! I agree the tale of the Winchesters is one that aches of ancient heartbreak and speaks of fates greater than themselves.

This part is like a mix of humor and angst.

That's a good twist on the names, and their orgins too! I love this story so much!

Such a dark turn for the brothers. I got chills. Really great writing!

I love this darker look at what could have been. Really enjoyable read and true to the chatacters. There hasn't been a chapter I've disliked yet. Great work! I'm jealous :)

After "Mystery Spot", I can see Sam being off tacos and Chinese takeout for awhile...

I don't recall who wrote it, but remember reading a story written about the "taco snippet", where Dean spent an entire day slowly dying from food poisoning. It was both painful, and beautiful at the same time.

The Lie to Me thing seems interesting.

Heh, that chapter doesn't seem to have much to do with the summary...incidentally, it really irritated me that in the summary you managed to throw together the words to two different versions of the chant so that you lost the rhyme. Is that so hard? Sorrow, mirth, funeral, birth; alternately sorrow, joy, girl, boy.

'Sorrow, joy, funeral, birth' does not work.
