May I just say that sometimes I missed John's thoughts and feelings? You described them so well so often, but I especially think of John and Margaret sitting on the bench and John finally clasping her hands. From "The idea that Margaret would offer her assistance to him in such a way as only a business associate pained him" to "Thornton moved his hand (...) and tucked it between her clasped hands" there's a deep sentimental journey, yet we only get the description of the scene. But what made him act like this? Particularly after the "businesslike" impression he got of her? I think you could fill that gap wonderfully... and I would love to read it!

That short story was great. Just right, and I could hear their voices and see their faces. What a fabulous way to describe the meaning of what they were thinking, and feeling. I loved, loved, loved it, and I can now sleep well visualizing the end of the movie. Thank you, Deborah
