I LOVE your take on the Doctor and Donna.. and I especially love that you are NOT particularly enamored with a certain blonde. Even better!

I always wondered about the Doctor's wife and why he always ran from Gallifrey and his family. He obviously was NOT a good time lord, and too often I have read too many stories where she was a harpy who took the children away when he didn't "conform". I loved how you made it be completely different, how she really did love him and tried to understand him and his need to run and explore. How maybe it was her foreknowledge that his happiness was not going to come about because of her, but because of some woman in the distant future long after she and all her people were dead. It takes an incredibly strong woman to step back and let the man she loves walk away towards a future that you KNOW you are not involved with. Very moving when Donna and the Oracle actually met, and I especially loved how Donna reminded the Doctor that she really did love him very much. She let him go to chase his destiny.

Loved it. Had a great laugh at your descriptions of the Doctors, thought she should have slapped Six as well as Nine; and so glad she hugged Eight (or was it the War Doctor) he needed it.

so happy that my first thoughts when Donna was on the TARDIS with Eleven were correct. Course Donna is human so maybe the kids were there but she wasn't. Anyway glad they were able to resolve the initial issue and that Donna set him start about how opposite she is from Rose in reaction to his past companions and romantic partners.

I kind of figured it was the Oracle trying to get rid of Donna but now I don't know if I'm overreacting or not to Eleven's last few lines. I'm going to have to go back and re-read your notes about whether this is part of the Mrs Smith verse. So don't want to think about that being a nod to canon Journeys End

Holy crap this has spiraled so far away from Donna trying to learn the Doctor's romantic history. I'm practically on the edge of my seat wondering how they're going to be able to fix things now.

what a dummy. Guess I shouldn't be surprised that the Doctor is so clueless. I love how you've brought Reinette into the story, that was such a great episode. I don't remember the Doctor showing a fraction of that type of chemistry/emotion toward Rose as he did toward Reinette.

This was quite the little adventure, starting out with a whack job Donna who was insanely jealous of the Doctor's past. That was weird. Thanks for getting her back to normal by the end. *chuckle*
