Ah great story! Started it this morning and was nearly late for work! Picked it up again as soon as I got home. You've really captured the characters well and I love having the old gang back together!

That was a very satisfying read. I like the fact that George & Nico did not exist. I always found that particular twist in the plot a bit hard to believe ... like, it wasn't as though Ruth wasn't used to being alone, and she was still in love with Harry, so why would she hook up with George? Your story was much more believable, as well as fluffy!

This is a wonderful chapter, and I love it that the kid gave away her own paternity!

My favourite line, of course was:

"Ros scoffed lightly, "I don't do emotional attachment, and if I did I wouldn't talk about it.""

I first read this story several months ago, but I'm currently in the middle of reading it again. I am struck by the uniqueness of the storyline, and how beautifully you told it - without sentimentality or too much angst. I loved the way you worded the emails - subtle, but informative. I've read quite a number of your fics, and I think this is just about the best one. It is a real page-turner.

i wish there was a sequel

I just read the whole story in one go, and I can't believe I haven't come across this one before. Absolutely gorgeous from start to finish, and I really hope you'll do a sequel someday!
