Oh my, what a masterful ending you've crafted to this story - so sweet and bittersweet. I love the Charles & Raven moments so much, especially the scenes of her slapping him and revealing that she's pregnant. I kinda wish we'd gotten to see more of Charles's recovery before the time-jump, but I'm so glad that he found peace even without Erik, and I love the descriptions of his simple grave under the tree. Wonderful work - I'll be recommending this at my forum. :)

Wow, I love the way you break down what's wrong with Charles here. How Emma explains it while still being nonchalant and unaffected is so perfect for her, and it's a good contrast to how hard her words hit for Erik, Raven, and me. And man, was I on the edge of my seat when Erik realized what he was willing to do to save Charles. Man, the feels in this story are almost too much, especially that ending! Although I do like the irony of Erik finding peace in death even though he could never find it in life, I still hope that he's not really dead!

What another intense chapter. I love how Charles finally breaks down and lets himself be vulnerable about his condition, beneath the mask he's been wearing for the others. The story really gets down and looks his mortality in the eye. I also love Raven showing up to see Charles, and that scene of her and Erik lying on either side of him. Can't wait to see what happens with Emma!

Geez, Charles and Erik are really swimming in angst here, but this was another really well-done chapter. I loved the scene of them reminiscing about better times, but I really disliked Charles whining "Why did you have to kill him?" (Oh, wah, Shaw deserved and needed to die.) Looking forward to what happens next - I hope Charles and Erik get out of this room!

Oh man, this chapter is so intense. That scene in Hank's lab hit me right in the feels, with Erik so desperate to find something to save Charles and Hank telling him there's nothing. I also love the scene of them trying to have sex again - at least they're together again, but how bittersweet that their last time before Cuba was the last time ever. I'm so curious as to how this will play out - will Emma get involved (could be interesting), will Raven show up (I hope so)?

I love the argument between Erik and Hank in this chapter. I think it creates an interesting dynamic between them that as much as they hate each other, they both care about Charles and want him to live. I also love the scene of Erik returning to his old room (and his old life). All the Charles/Erik hurt/comfort is well-written, but I hope there will be a few lighter moments in this story, too.

Geez, what an intense first chapter. Such a great build of suspense with Erik returning to the mansion, hearing Charles scream, and not knowing what's wrong or why Hank and Alex don't want him to see him. Their reunion hit me right in the feels. I'm glad Erik is sticking around for now, but obviously I hope Charles doesn't actually die!

Update more chapters about this story,because it's the best,extra and the great story that I was reading about it,and I am also starting to love and to like reading to this story. In all seriousness, this story was AMAZING. Very few, if any, grammatical errors, and a wonderful plot. Also, I personally think that the characterizations are spot-on.
