Nice concept, but the Elcor one was weird. Canonically the big lumps vocalize their intonation before they speak because their body language is imperceptible to other lifeforms. There is no need for that between them, and I was actually looking forward to hearing a conversation between Elcors and how it could be managed.

I'm guessing your going with the 'long dead' approach then? I don't think even a full Paragon Shepard would let this kind of distorted history to happen. I find my favorites so far are Salarian, Krogan, and Vorcha in that order. I find the Vorcha one especially interesting. Because if I'm reading that right, Omega, City of Sin, Capital of the Terminus Systems, is now a 'Shepard city' with a law abiding populace that wants nothing to do with red sand and mercs... oh how far the galaxy has come.

I love these stories. It's always interesting reading about Shepard/humanity from the POV of other species. I hope you haven't given up on this. I would love to hear the Geth, Turian, and Human chapters. It would also be interesting to see some of the races that have already been done incorporating aspects from ME3 into the stories. Ie: Krogan telling stories about curing the genophage, Quarians telling stories about retaking Rannoch, Hanar telling stories about Shepard traveling with an Enkidler.

OH MY GOD THAT'S PERFECT. Shepard becomes Odysseus/Heracles/Jason/every Greek hero ever? YESSSSS.

I was just looking through my old reviews and I found one I had made on this story last year. In the review I treated the story like a comedy and praised the author for making such a funny story. Now that I'm reading it again, I see it is a decidedly non-comedic story that examines the galaxy long after the Reaper War ends. I would like to apologize to the author, I do not know what I was thinking back then. your story is one of the better ones I've seen in the speculative post-war genre.
