Good start. grabs interest right away.
kitkat24 chapter 6 . 4/4/2013
going to read throughout the whole thing, but so far this is fantastic!, plot great, grammer and spelling perfect and the way you have written it brung chills to my spine. if you ever write books in the future i garuntee (don't know if thats the right spelling or not) that i will be the first in line to get your book signed.
Diana Prallon chapter 20 . 9/3/2012
I would have liked it better if the first bit was skipped and we had this conversation and a prologue way into the future showing that it was all well? And I don't think Merlin would tell Arthur his destiny, his head is already too big as it is! LOL. But all in all, it was a great first piece. There's room for improvement (there always is), but it was a good idea and I loved your creatures! :)
Diana Prallon chapter 19 . 9/3/2012
That's Arthur, unable to say anything when the person can actually hear and saying it when they cannot. It's really sad, isn't it? (and oh, why they doi not kiss? huahuahauaa. I know it's friendship but MERTHUR FEELS)
Diana Prallon chapter 18 . 9/3/2012
This last paragraph? THIS. THIS is the problem. And Merlin, although he can be merciless, I think he would have taken her with him - them - and kept her safe from herself. It would be hell, and it would be kindness, and it would be very Merlin.
Diana Prallon chapter 17 . 9/3/2012
Call me emotional - but I would have had Arthur (or Merlin?) doing the Tenth-Doctor-and-Master-thing and saying "I forgive you" or "I would have stand by I as I stood by him before you turned yourself to evil", and and and!

... But that's just fine. A few grammar mistakes ("I would like to introduce him to you"), but it did get a good pace and it got much better and I can't wait to end it.
Diana Prallon chapter 16 . 9/3/2012
Honestly, this might sound cruel but... He deserves it. He -is- a traitor to his own kind, not for protecting Arthur, but for hiding his true nature and not sharing his hopes and the things he knew would come to pass with them. I love Merlin, I really do, and Morgana has crossed to many lines, but much of what happened with Mordred, Morgana and many others are also Merlin's fault - Gaius and Kilgarrah faults - and his for being too foolish and not doing as he thought was right but as they told him to.
Diana Prallon chapter 15 . 9/3/2012
This is so cool. And by cool I mean totally not cool. It's very much S4's Morgana - and that's sad, really.
Diana Prallon chapter 14 . 9/3/2012
Poor, poor Merlin. And I'd really would have had Morgana confronting Merlin about his magic more deeply - or at least reckoning that it explained a lot. I can only imagine how betrayed and angry she will fell when she finds out that he has magic and allowed her to be alone and scared.
Diana Prallon chapter 13 . 9/3/2012
It was a shitty plan. Really, it was. VERY like them, but still shitty. They are crap at planning, you know? It's a wonder Morgana didn't take camelot yet.
Diana Prallon chapter 12 . 9/3/2012
OH, That's a good choice, but a dangerous one - Elyan might snap out of it after all. Loved the bit with the magical creatures, but Merlin's is a bit pointless and out of the blue? Gwen wasn't there and then she was? *confused*

I'll have dinner now, so it'll take a while for me to get back to the fic, but I'll keep on reading/reviewing
Diana Prallon chapter 11 . 9/3/2012
Really, that's just silly of them. They should have tied Elyan to them somehow and allowed them to guide, so they'd be able to find the other men. But that's just me talking, none of the knights have ever shown that amount of intelligence when it comes to tracking. LOL.

(Percival knows how to do too many things already, I would have used another knight. Is he a favorite?)

(Elyan is following the "black guy is always the first" troop hahaha)
Diana Prallon chapter 10 . 9/3/2012
I loved this last line, that one really sounds like Morgana. I don't think she'd really believe she'd get answers, but then again, she might try anyway. I wonder if Merlin doesn't do magic out of his control when he's in great danger? Always did. As you said, it does get better - it gets a better pace as well.
