Gurl, you do so much research. I'm legit impressed. I mean, even though I don't really know what most of locations etc..., the fact that they're included lends a credibility to the text that wouldn't otherwise be there. For example, as if this stuff is actually happening in history, regardless if the readers understand the details or not. It makes it seem like this isn't something written for a certain audience. It's a record of a series of events following a person. Feels and reads like a biography. It's amazing. And kudos for following through with such attention to detail. I feel like if I wrote out everything on a map, or googled one of the cities etc... I'd find exactly what you're describing, and I could find that bench Yag smoked on, or find the Hatch and look for ticket stubs.

Mako is really insightful, and honestly is just so cool. I mean, Yag trusts her with the secret of his kiddo. She's always watching his back too and that's just amazing. Super cool character. The rest of the band people are kind of a blur, I'd have to re-read them to get a feel. Wonder what they broke tho.

As for Iori, I love how he's so chill. I mean, yeah he's terse and isn't particularly friendly, but being in his head is just nice. Lol at the fangirls taking pictures, and he doesn't even look at the camera. Way to treat fans bruh. (Mine is 100x worse :) ) . Btw, I lived that line about his "sheer force is personality" yeah dudes, you don't mess with #1 bae

And how that terse persona just comes crumbling down at the mere mention of his daughter. Ugh. He's got so much bottled up he needs to go drink something and cry a little(a lot?). Get it out of his system Before the video chat. Otherwise it's gonna be an awk call.

And I'm pretty surprised how Yag managed to raise Aoi for like 4 months, without any serious hiccups. I mean, yeah I guess he did his research. Glad Orochi didn't strike again. Will the riot make a reappearance?

The little snippets the refrence back to Yag being a KOF-er are plain awesome. The little convo when Mako, and the sitting at the restaurant where he can get the best vantage point. It's easy to forget this quiet red-haired guy literally helped take down mother nature's evil brother, and can probably set you on fire.

Overall, lovely chapter.

The tone of this stuff is just so serious :( I mean, this is supposed to be a good thing, but even prepping a tour sounds stressful and sad. Especially since poor Aoi's gonna get babysat. :( It's been 4 months Yag, hire a babysitter already! You don't need to ask favours, just hire someone!
