Absolutely amazing. I...I don't even know what to say, this was such a beautiful story. You have a wonderful style of writing, your characterization is spot on and your descriptions are so crystal clear.

Everything in this seemed like it could have been on the show. The dialogue between James and Snow was exactly what I think they would have said. I could hear their voices and see their expressions so clearly in my head. That line “At least he’d know that her hands would be warm” was one of the cutest darn things ever!

The idea of this story is so adorable, it could’ve gotten really cheesy but it didn’t! The mittens? That was one of those moments that makes your face hurt a little from smiling so much! And then you made it worse by secretly putting the ring in it! So now I’m sitting here thinking about how Snow could’ve reacted to finding the ring. You’re a genius! I’ve already finished reading your story and I’m probably going to be thinking about it for a long time afterwards. That is brilliant writing right there! :D

This whole story was just…it was perfect. I can’t give you a single critique, This is definitely in my top five favorite stories of all time. I loved it. Thank you for posting! RMS_Roswell

Aww how sweet! I love that he didn't just give her the ring, that would have been way to overt and lead to much awkwardness. Instead he hides it inside the mittens, leading to much adorableness.

AWWW! If that wasn't the cutest thing ever! :-) I so thought the present was gonna be the ring, so I was a little disappointed w/the mittens but then you totally won me back over by having the ring be hidden inside the left mitten. ;-} Great little drabble and I really hope to see more from you w/Snowing.

P.S. Loved your treatment of Charming's "name" James. Not many writers are following that continuity of that not being his real name and you handled it perfectly.

This was wonderful! I thouroughly expected him to give her the ring, but was pleasantly suprised when she opened the package and found mittens. Then to find out that the ring was sewn inside made me all gooey inside. Lovely job!

This was so sweet! I love that he came to see her on her birthday, that she "found" him, and really their whole interaction was so, so wonderful. You captured their banter perfectly, and I like Charming's narration. And I really, really love that he secretly gave her the ring. I would love for something like that to be canon! :)
