Love how you gave them their unique voices. I hate it when I read a fanfic and I have to work hard to imagine the characters saying the dialogue. Yours feels natural: Douglas sounds like Douglas, Carolyn sounds like Carolyn, etc.

You do a reeeally good job of making me relate to Martin without (in my opinion, at least) getting too gross, you know what I mean? . . . And I'm both intrigued/worried for him and refreshed that you wrote about Martin breaking down. Anyone in his position . . .

Right, I did read this chapter instantly after reading the previous one, but I didn't comment on it. So, today I read it once again and I must say that the end is quite scary. He realises that something is wrong with Anita, but he can't lay his finger on it. Poor Martin. I hope it's no tumour!
