This story is phenomenal! I wouldn't worry about a rewrite. You've done very well with what you have here and that's coming from a highly picky reader. Keep going!

Wonderful story. I was enthralled for a whole day reading it. Perfect characterization. Perfect writing. Perfect story.

I'm not against some good Loki romance. Indeed he's too delicious to pass up in this departement.

But I've got some reservations here. One, this fascination is a little too abrupt to be believable. There is no explanations, no nothing. Just out of the blue Loki find himself almost half in love with a perfect inconnue. I pmean...he's millenia old, how often must he have come accross similar situations? Guys trying to rape a young maiden? That's...disgutingly common. And beauty? Come on, how many women did he met? And there isn't enough time for something more profound and subtle to take place. So...why did Loki take an interest? Two, I feel as if you didn't grasp all the facets of Loki. It's like a caricature. You've got some of his major features but it doesn't feel real.

The essence of Cold Fire is brilliant. But you should do what will make you happy. If you feel that a rewrite would best satisfy you, why not go for it? I voted for a rewrite, feeling that would be the best of both worlds ... you can tidy the story up and strengthen it to suit yourself, and at a later date your readers will see the coveted continuation of Camille and Loki's unique story.

I'm eagerly following your stories either way. Good luck with your educational career, dear authoress.

I went to your page, and voted for a continuation, because I absolutely adore this story as it is, and have eagerly awaited an update for so long. So it's the selfish part of me that says continuation, but the more logical side of me says that if you're unhappy with the plot, the characters, and how you wrote the story, it will make it that much harder to continue writing when your skill and style has changed so much, and you might end up rewriting anyway. So you do what you feel will make this story the best it can be, but I just want you to know, I think it's pretty fabulous already :D

Do what you think is right, I will read it no matter what.

I know you're working on a sequel to your other big work, and I'm following that eagerly. After your sequel is completed, I'd be so happy as a reader, if you could resume writing about Camille and Loki - if you have time. It's a unique and special character study. I for one don't care whether this story ultimately diverges completely from canon; it's a terrific story in its own right. Thanks for sharing it.

You absolutely have to update! I was so looking forward to the Camille vs. Odin Battle Royale! That would be the smack down of a lifetime! Please this is an amazing story!
