great chapter,, sounds like Dean is having a good day,, I really like this story of Dean, I've read other stories where Sam go to have fun with his friends, and Dean goes sad alone to a motel, good to read a different story

Ahh...what a wonderful Christmas story with everything it needs...friends, family, near-tradgedy, heroes, healing and lots of love. Cried all the way through at the end but in a good way.

Oh, I just discovered this story on the recommendation of a friend. What a fabulous start. It's so sad that Dean feels threatened by Sam's friends. And he really wants his little brother to be happy. Can't wait to read the rest of it. Glad I discovered it after it was complete!

Ah...loved the start...both boys having a chance to relax...well, sorta. Sam's getting an awful lot of pressure, but still obviously having some fun. I LOVED Sam's description of how Dean had pretty much done everything for him, raising him far more than their father had.

And great to see Dean making a new friend AND find a girl who seems perfect for him. Too bad it's all going to go to crap, probably in the next chapter, LOL! I mean, it IS going to go to crap, I assume, LOL! Would love for our guys to just both get to have a nice holiday, but then that wouldn't make for much of a story, would it?

Awww! Totally loved this. At first I was upset Sam was leaving Dean behind for Christmas but then when Dean found a family to care for him, it seemed like things were going to be Ok. But Sam coming for Dean because he was worried..protecting his brother...just awesome. Made the story about what I love best: Dean and Sam's brotherhood.
