I love this story so much. This is one of my favorite Nanoha stories, and as I'm doing my rewatch of the series, I can only think about how excited I am to reread this as part of it.

Great story, especially the last chapter, that one really had me jumping with excitement.

I don't know if you still exist, but I want you to know I'm going to reread this again for maybe the eighth time. I love this fic so much.

Did I never write a review for this years prior? I was just re-reading this again along with a few other of my favorite Nanoha fics like Infinity, Of Assassins, Samurai, and Magic and Game Theory, etc.

The original spin for this story was a real treat to read, I loved it, especially the expanded details of Nanoha's spell-making. Also curious about the ongoing investigation on the TSAB side but we didn't get much closure there. I guess it does end at A's, although the story would've felt more complete with the TSAB stuff from StrikerS wrapped up as well, might've taken another ten chapters, however.

It's one of the greatest fiction i ever read but everything have an end and the adventure is over.

This fics has become one of those that you revisit every so often because of the sh*t-eating grins it brings to your face, at least in my books.

Upon third reading though Amy explaining the dimensional interference to Lindy in chapter 1 does strike as a bit strange to me... it comes off a bit too much as explaining to the readers. The expositioning gets better as the writing continued though, and tbh the interludes now make more sense to me when reading the piece as a whole (please forgive me when I skim through the Scagletti chapter though, I can't bring myself to care much about him and his merry band of combat cyborgs... IMO that's more a fault of the show than your fic).

Overall, the care put into creating believable alternate solutions to original conflicts in the plot really shows (while maintaining a sense of levity, giant squid ftw), in addition to the time you put into fleshing out the many background characters that quite frankly, get sidelined hard in the show (supplementary content not withstanding). Like, I know I'm biased but with how the Reflection and Detonation movies treated Yuuno and Arf... just breaks my little heart. Seeing everyone getting proper doses of awesomeness is just amazing.

Hope you'll find the inspiration to pick up this fic again, though with the current state of affairs of Nanoha content... I'm not hopeful. Still, maybe we'll see a StrikerS film compilation in the next 10 years or so? XD

P.S. Def interested in seeing how you tackle the core quartet's dynamics - love comes in many forms and I trust your writing decisions, rabid shippers be damned.

Why does my own personal head canon have all four of them (that is Yuuno Nanoha Fate and Hayate) joining the TSAB and after about 10 years and an incident involving a certain doctor then locking their biological age at 18 Taking over the TSAB and yuuno Founding another branch involving archaeology and exploration.

I've been reading this. Precia arc and the consequences of a dimensional dislocation and her getting the jewel shards was good reading. but after, with the book of darkness, it's been pretty calm. You're writing about birthday presents. Well Nanoha is nine, Hayate is young, Yuunos a kid too... I lost me, didn't really have a point to what i was saying. i really enjoyed the precia arc.

This is honestly one of the best fanfiction stories I have ever read.
I really hope you pick this up again, even if it's just 2 or 3 chapters to close things up.

Just re-read the last chapter of this fic, forgot how genuinely touching the Yumeko interactions were.

One thing that I thought was pretty tough but ultimately necessary was Yumeko giving Hayate (some?) of her memories. Compared to canon A's it was a much happier departure, with Hayate *knowing* why it is necessary and at least partly desired by Yumeko. And I hope I understood correctly that the new Reinforce will not be bound to obey a master - it's the only way I can see Yumeko resting easily tbh.

What the TSAB will think about an immortal device of unfathomable power, that will only grow more powerful as time goes, and is actually a free person, I'm interested to see.

Regarding who will accept the TSAB's recruitment offer, I am not sure honestly! Fate and Nanoha will probably make their choice together, followed by Arf. I think it'd come down to if they think they can do what they do with or without outside support. But Nanoha and Fate ultimately want to help their friends, and that they can do alone.

I see Hayate and the Wolkenritter joining TSAB tbh. She needs to learn how to create a unison device, to respect Yumeko's legacy. She'd also want to secure Reinforce's status as a free person as forcefully as she can. For her own person I'm not sure what she'd actually want from the TSAB beyond some political protection, but sometimes you have to respect the wishes of a departed loved one above your immediate needs. I'm pretty confident that nanoha or not, Hayate will have a meteoric rise in the TSAB. In twenty years it'll be supreme commander hayate for sure.

Yuuno has some TSABish ties by default, but I think that saving the world (twice) with his friends would have some effect on him. I don't see him separating from the other any time soon, if everyone ends up as I've speculated he's going to be the glue between a TSAB office Yagami&co, and a probably independent Nanoha&Fate&Arf.

In any case, I know it's been more than a year since last update, but I hope you'll find the time to write more in this. Nanoha fics are becoming unfortunately rare. :(
