This was such a good story! I feel like an epilogue is needed to see what happens with Lauren after going to Bangladesh and also the future of DELENA and the kids and who this little human will be.

I loved how you had to read the entire story to completely get it and all the seamless flashbacks.

This can not be the end, it's a fantastic story, but a more concrete closure is missing. An epilogue would be great to conclude.

Amazing

This is my first time commenting on a story. I don't know where to start, I know the author won't read this but I just have so many emotions about this one.
First of all, it's the most beautiful book I've ever read in my entire life and on this site. This is the first book I've read here, exactly a year ago. I read over a thousand books here, literally. Long stories, short stories, one shots... My reading history shows 1118 books (all Delena). I think I've read every Delena fanfiction here (except T-rateds). Some of them was really good, some had no plot. But I always compared them to this one. And then, I started reading this exactly the same date I started it last year and again finished it at the same time. It's the only book I've read twice.
The relationships between every character is so well-described. Usually, I like a fanfiction when its mostly between Damon and Elena, reading other relationships in the book bores me. But in this one, I enjoyed every character. Especially Damon-Grayson (besides Delena, duh). Plot-twists are really surprising yet so heart melting. I've never cried this much in a book. Liam- Damon bonding was literally the best. Damon development in the five years is just so amazing. And of course, Delena's feelings for each other is the best written one I've read here.
I consider this book very angsty. Although I don't really like reading angst, in this book it just makes it much more interesting to read. Another thing makes this book unique is not very long authors notes. I actually don't mind but some writers chatting about their lives for pages are sort of killing the mood. And the lack of epilogue where 5-10 years later Delena rides into the sunset married with 4 children is also making this story different.

All in all, I think this story is the best Delena fanfiction ever written. If not the most, it always will be one of my favorite book. Thank you so much for writing this.
If there's anyone who still haven't read this book, they're missing out on so much.

I loved this story, but I think this should’ve had a better ending, a more conclusive one, it just leaves a lot of things hanging

Just reread this story which I love so much.
Had forgotten the ending. While it is obvious that Damon & Elena are together again, it needs an epilogue or sequel - Damon gets his mum cured in Bangladesh & comes back for pregnant Elena & Baby birth & then marriage.

So so so beautifully written and absolutely heart wrenching and amazing, thank you for coming back and finishing it. Hope you keep writing, whether it's here or somewhere else.
