Hehe, the ending was great. I would’ve loved a bit more of the “Shiz” in Shizaya, but oh well. At least they kissed~!”

Izaya’s “punishment” is over? I really don’t like the way Shinra phrases that. He shouldn’t be “punishing” Izaya, he should be trying to help him.

And also, if Izaya’s happier going home I don’t understand why Shinra kept him there in the first place. Izaya should be happier, and if being home makes him happier I don’t think he should’ve been kept in solitary confinement... like, at all. Also, because he ate when he was home and tried to starve himself in confinement really shows it wasn’t a very good idea. And I think Izaya changed before going into confinement and if anything the confinement hurt the process. It’s just not very healthy, that’s all I’m trying to say.

But for fiction purposes it really does make an interesting plot.

You know, I don’t think putting Izaya in solitary confinement is that good for depression. I’ve been depressed before (never to such extremes but I have) and the last thing I wanted was to be alone. Yeah, I would go and mope and cry for like an hour and when that happened all I really wanted was to talk to people and be distracted from feeling so sad all the time. So, I just really don’t think that’s a good idea. They have suicidal hotlines you know because when your depressed you really just need someone to talk to. So really I don’t think Izaya needed to be confined or bugged or constantly watched like a bird in a cage, but just a friend he can talk to and someone to listen and such.

But I do love the story so far. Just wanted to say that because confining Izaya would probably only make him more depressed and suicidal. I don’t know much about being suicidal but I imagine that people wanting to die would think of death as an escape and so the last thing you would want is to make them feel more confined then they already are.

I love Izaya, any character who's smart, similar to a demon or devil, has dark hair, or something like that I love them. Mikado is also included in that because of the dark hair and Shinra to.

Oh my god, when Izaya started crying, I wanted to start too... I agree with you, he really is a horrible person. And I like the idea of Shizuo going to Izaya and just telling him what he thinks of him without throwing anything - that's so powerful.
