Very sweet!

Sorry I didn't post this before - but I know I said I thought the last bit seemed kinda "superfluous" - but I do kind of like "Gilligan had told her there was only one girl whose pies he would always come home for.
And that girl was Mary Ann Summers".

Nice.

I enjoyed this very much. The bits about the boats and submarines and grass stains - excellent.
My only real criticism is the ending. The bit after "I know you will" (the last little section) seems kinda superfluous to me. I think simply ending with "I know you will" might be a better ending. (Does Ugundu show up a little later in your GI universe, like in the show? Are you setting up for a big battle on the island?)
I thought the story was excellent - definitely one of the best GI fanfics I've read.

Wow. This story is in character almost perfectly.

'She lowered her voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "I see him. In bath. While he play with boats. He have boat this big." Kalani put her hands about five inches apart. "And he have submarine this big." She pulled her hands outwards, adding another couple of inches at least. Then she giggled again, holding her hand politely over her mouth. "Please excuse Kalani. It is tradition in Matobi tribe for women to gather together to compare husbands. Kalani means no offence."

"None taken," Mary Ann whispered back, her voice trembling. It wasn't just that Kalani had been peeking at Gilligan in the bath, it was the fact that Kalani didn't even know Gilligan, and she had already seen his...submarine.'

- I started laughing around this time. It's so wrong, but it's hilarious!

"As Master, I order you to take a nap!"

-Ah, he finally put the Skipper's lessons into use, didn't he?

And then the pie fight. This was when I finally stopped laughing. Ish. The fact that both women hurt him was almost like they did it delibritably. XD And then when he got out of there, they started AGAIN!

I like this a lot, it was funny. I especially liked how you portrayed Kalani. She's a lot like Ginger in here too, I don't know if it's just me or not, but she reminded me of Ginger when talking about marriage . . . and Gilligan's baths. Only Ginger isn't that pervy. I think. Three years on an island changes you.

oooh! Loved it! You certainly caught Gilligan's need to balance Kalani's need to serve and Mary Ann's need to protect who she loves. Thank you for the story.

Like always, what a great story. I think it was uncalled for Mary Ann to hit Kalani in the face w/the pie but I also understand why she did it. Either way, I loved it! Great job and keep up the great work!

Fight! Fight! Fight! So glad you were finally inspired enough to write this down, after a week of LOL'ing over the idea and me bugging you about it.

BULLet points!

- Aw, he can't even go butterfly hunting. Three's a crowd, Kalani. Back off.

- NO, G Man! Don't let her wash your back! If MA had seen that, the fight would've been even bigger!

- "But still, it disturbed her to see Gilligan's boxer shorts being handled so delicately by another woman." That's right, she's the only one who's allowed to touch his boxer shorts. Wait... I love the little things like this that set up the atmosphere of him "cheating" on her with Kalani, haha.

- "'Sweet' was her word for Gilligan!" RUN, KALANI!

- But, no, the dumbbell keeps talking...

- "Gilligan would make good husband for Kalani." D'OH!

- "Gilligan would make good babies." You're not telling her anything she hasn't already decided, girl. But, seriously, Kalani. RUN.

- Submarine. o.O Oh, Kalani, moving in for the kill. You gotta take it slow and kiss him on the cheek and bake for him and plant your hands on your hips and glare at him for three years before you get to see the submarine! Don't you know anything, Kalani?

- Gilligan! Stop unintentionally flirting with Kalani! You know MA is going to walk by and see it and then you'll never get to go butterfly hunting ever again! Oop, there she is. Too late. Fail.

- Dinner is cracking me up! "That's all she thinks about. Babies." "I think I'm going to throw up." Hahaha.

- "Kalani have special treat for master." MEEP! I hope it's not "pie."

- Oh good, it's just pie.

- "Only Mary Ann makes pie for Gilligan." Hahaha, third person. Win! Castaways parting like the Red Sea! Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and all that other stuff.

- "It can't be easy doing chores all day and then making pies for me as well. I sure am a lucky guy!" Doop! G Man! That's what MA does all the time. FAIL!

- The ONLY thing I find kinda OOC is G Man all, "My precious pie!" and being more horrified at that than the chick fight at first. Otherwise, I'm LOL'ing so hard.

- Do Matobi wear underwear? Or at least underwear with waistbands? Who cares - a wedgie is a classic move! And then only thing to combat a head-butt to the gut with. :)

- Howell taking bets! Proffy pointing out that two women are fighting over GILLIGAN! Skippy being jealous. Haha.

- Aw, G Man insisting on staying with MA.

- Aw, he took back his snotty handkerchief and put it back in his pocket. That's love, when you shove someone else's snot in your pocket.

- Meep. What a cute little ending image. Her sticky hands getting pie all over his shirt. His hands on hers. His chin on the top of her head. (Although she should totes tell him about Kalani saying all those things b/c he'd be way freaked out).

- "Kalani have bath if Master let Kalani play with boats." NOT THE SUBMARINE!

- "There's nothing going on, not now or ever." Meep. Did they have this conversation and you didn't write it? Was she all pouty and jealous and so he had to tell her this? Aw.

- "Gilligan had told her there was only one girl whose pies he would always come home for." Oh god, just get married already and get it over with.

Poor MA, having to be the other woman in this scenario. Or is Kalani the other woman? I can't keep up. I LOL'ed. Excellent, excellent job as always, friend! Hilarious and adorable - you took something totally ghetto that we were laughing about and turned it into a real story with heart. I'm always amazed at your ability to do that.

Man, I bet Gilligan never thought he'd EVER get to witness a catfight... over HIM!

Poor Mary Ann, you just have to feel bad for her. And it's so typical that she would feel bad about her behavior after the fact. At least everyone has been put in their place. Go Mary Ann!

LOL, at the end there, it sounded like she was talking about her husband and his mistress, the whole always coming back to Mary Ann thing. As always, hilarious and everyone is always so in-character. Love it!
