Hmmm, it's interesting but i think there is 2 main problem. (other than the masterchief because that is overkill)

The first thing is Hammond's reaction through the story. While i totally agree that he seemed to be the type of guy who would help any survivor he find on his way, he is also the one who gives orders. I know Shepard is badass and is used to give order to other, i don't think that hammond would have said yes that easily, moreover since shepard is working with Aliens and in the beginning of Dead Space, everything led you to think that it is something alien that is controlling the necromorph.
So i don't understand why Hammond, Kendra and Isaac would follow orders from a stranger that knows strictly nothing to the USG Ishimura, or the Necromorph infection and a stranger that is working with Aliens. (and mercer isn't even surprised to see mordin...weird).

The second thing is...Kendra, We both know that she's going to betray us however I thing she was reallly afraid through the game (my opinion but that's not what is important), however even if toward the end it became obvious she was hiding something, she knew that her only way to survive was to have help from Hammond and Isaac so I don't understand why you said that she isn't happy to see Hammond alive. What i wanted to say is, Shepard and co have doubts about her way too soon (who wouldn't be weird in a necromorph infection)...they have a lie detector on them?

I think you should kill some characters because they seemed to be a little too...godlike, and you have to keep in mind that the Collector's base and the USG Ishimura are two totally different mission. They had few information for the collector's base while they didn't have a single thing on the USG Ishimura.

Finally, I know that tali is a engineer genius, no doubt about it, but this ship don't have mass effect thing, or eezo, and she manages to hack some data or open door but shouldn't it be impossible since she don't know a thing about the technology or computing of the USG Ishimura?

Well, that were the main point which i find weren't good in your story, it may seemed a little harsh but i truly think this story is good and have great idea. (even if it seemed more easy than the easy mode of dead space).

to bad they don't have stasis much easier there . the detonator in the second game is fun so is the javlin . to bad no one told them about the shop gives them better weapons and ammo .

fun stuff . wait until they fight the big one's . at least there good enough not to die .

Could there be a possible Isaac/Tali pairing? Anyways this is really good so far, but I think the one thing this story lacks are a few moments where Isaac shines and shows why he is such a great character in the Dead Space Universe. My advice is make him and the Normandy Crew split up after Kendra's betrayal and have him deal with the Hive Mind on his own, then get captured by EarthGov and sent to the Sprawl. An idea I've been passing around would be to have the oc character(s) of a particular story have their own ship and crew and do their own things across the galaxy, making a name for themselves as opposed to joining Shepard's cause like every other Mass Effect crossover does. It would be a great original idea I would like to see done for once. In my opinion Shepard doesn't need ocs because he already put together an awesome crew of 12 and the oc characters would pretty much be taking up space in the Normandy, he doesn't need them. Isaac for example is an engineer and not a soldier, he wouldn't know how the Normandy's tech works since he's from another universe and he can't go with Shepard down on missions because of his engineer status, so he'd pretty much be taking up space aboard the Normandy, and Paragon or not, Shepard doesn't accept freeloaders. Don't get me wrong I know this is your fanfic and you can do with it as you please, I won't be all butt hurt if you ignore the idea, I'm just suggesting it for your next story or if you intend to do some kind of multi crossover for this one sometime in the future. Anyways keep up the good work, I hope you can make it to the finish of this story unlike so many other writers on this website.
