These shape-shifting assassins, they weren't the Family of Blood were they?

I like the differences in personality between the Ninth and Eleventh Doctors - the Ninth was brusque, hard, and in pain when he explained about the mermaid, but the Eleventh Doctor, whilst in pain himself, took the time to be more explanatory.

Speaking of the Faction and the Doctor's former companions, its surprising from a certain POV they haven't tried to hack the companions timelines into little bits, but if they did before the Eighth Doctor was manipulated into destroying Gallifrey, the previous Doctor's would probably have noticed.

Out of all the enemies, Faction Paradox the way you write it make me wish Russell T. Davies had brought you into the team, and I think I've commented on that before. It's true, though, with the Daleks everything is dull after a while and it has gotten dull with them reappearing at the end of nearly all the seasons during Davies's tenure, but with the Faction you've got yourself a sick cult that preaches temporal disasters on a wide scale with equally devastating consequences.
Oh, the Daleks in this AU - are they using the bronze casings or the old ones last seen in Remembrance of the Daleks?

I've been meaning to ask you - how did the Eighth Doctor in this story regenerate, and how long did he actually live before becoming the Ninth Doctor? The description of his meeting with Anji, Dave and the Kulan aside, just how many of the Eighth Doctor's later companions actually met him?

Did Elton and the abzorbaloff happen? That would be great to rewrite - it only just came to me as I was reading about the bit where the Doctor was waiting for Amy to be old enough to travel with him, and a picture of the 10th Doctor and Rose getting inside the TARDIS whilst the takeoff was recorded entered my mind.

I wish Doctor Who had been written like this, I really do.

I know Marnal was the Time Lord who owned the TARDIS before the Doctor 'borrowed' it from Gallifrey, I know he was in The Gallifrey Chronicles, but where does he show up in your story?

End of the World could be a good one to do. The Impossible Planet and The Satan's Pit, those were interesting stories in their own right, but it would be interesting to see how they would fit for the 11th Doctor.

This was amazing! I absolutely adored this entire story, and it enthralled me from the beginning. I haven't had a lot of experience with anything other than the NuWho episodes, so I have no idea what the original Shadows of the Vashta Nerada and The Death of the Doctor were actually like, but I still enjoyed reading your rewrites. I am curious about the regeneration-swap in The Christmas Invasion, however; how exactly did that work, and when was it that he used it before? It's such an interesting idea, and I'd love to know more about it.

While I liked how Amy talked to Rory about her leaving, I still felt sorry for him a lot. It must be hard to learn your longtime friend would be leaving you for (maybe) forever AND have feelings for them too. On that note, don't worry about Amy seeming cruel here. I think you got that balance just right. On another similar note, is this the last we will be seeing of Rory in this series, or will he be back later on?

Well, the big journey is starting,. As for friends, I have a few from the classic era, I would LOVE to see show up: Ace, Tegan, Nyssa, Sarah Jane, The Brig, maybe The Master and/or The Rani. If you want to go with them, fine. If not, I'll look forward to what you come up with.
