Could you possibly post the last 2 chapters of this fanfic? I've read reviews that they tie the story up beautifully.

thelxinoes chapter 3 . 6/4/2012
thank you, thank you for this dark and strangely beautiful fairy tale!

i'm not a huge fan of grimmjow (i know, it's some sort of fandom crime), but i adored him in your story. he was just crass enough to be charming. i daresay you've turned me into an orihime X grimmjow shipper. and ulquiorra (i *do* love him) was a pitch perfect king of midnight; he was more cruel and efficient than he seemed in canon, and i *liked* it so very much.

your writing is so very good, and the way you weave various mythologies with your storytelling - well, it'd put even your orihime to shame. again, i thank you for a haunting story that i'm sure to think about long after i shut down my laptop.
SomethingIknow chapter 3 . 2/15/2012
Woooooow, what an incredible story! I love the many myths intertwined within it; very cool. I couldn't imagine it ending any other way. Beautifully written and powerful. You should write more stories in this little universe you've made!

Do you have some sort of obsession with double haensdds
randomfan17 chapter 3 . 1/27/2012
i loved this, it was written perfectly for the end of the story to turn out that way. I felt sorry for Grimmjow, a little pity for Ulquiorra, and happy Orihime got what she wished for. When the category said horror i was pretty much ready for a tragic ending, I just wish it was longer because i enjoyed it so much. I didn't see any obvious errors but my technical knowledge of english has been slipping since third grade, hehe. I loved it, once again.
Mahi-Mahi chapter 3 . 1/27/2012
ok, wow, where do i start.

well, i suppose i should just begin by saying this little fic left such a HUGE impact on me that i really don't have words to explain it completely.

just, again wow, since the first paragraph i could tell THIS story was different. something about the way you write, just sucked me in. the verse, it's beautiful and haunting. it's like a mix of a sherrilyn kenyon novel and mythology. although there are grammar errors, they are minor, and did little to take away from the plot. probably the biggest thing i want to praise you on, is the fact that i have NEVER seen ulquiorra portrayed so utterly and deeply IN character. too many ppl write what THEY think he should be like, or how they want to see him behave, and deny strongly that he is, indeed, a cruel creature. and even when authors do seem to hit the nail on the head w/ him, they ruin it by going into detail of WHY he is doing something, when in reality, i don't think even ulquiorra himself understands the reason why he was so fascinated w/ orihime and her heart. they forget what he did to ichigo, the way he did it, the way he taunted him and the way he practically made orihime watch him kill ichigo...and fans claim there is no cruelty in him? you didn't do that, you put him in his scenarios and had him act the way he should w/o trying to explain why. there's kind of a mysterious cloud around ulquiorra and i think that's why ppl love him so much. then they ruin it by trying to put reasons into his actions.

you did so well, the scenarios you put the characters in, their behavior, everything was just mindblowing. the imagery was out of this world. black sands, a small hut floating between worlds...

i adored your portrayal of grimmjow and his interactions w/ orhime. it was splendid! i could somehow tell you were leaning towards grimhime before the first chapter was even over, even if you weren't aware of it yourself...something about the way you began writing when ulquiorra came into the picture, the words were about the same story, but the way you were phrasing things felt differnt. it was in no means bad, it just caught my attention for some reason.

now, your ending.

WOW.

i don't think i can recall when an ending to a story has affected me so profoundly. it was so...right. and something about it disturbed because of it, the feelings i had were so deep it's like i wasn't even reading bleach fanfiction. the way ulquiorra reacted, what happened to hime, her state of deteriation, grimmjow's reluctant admital that she would have forgiven him, ulquiorra's confusion and the fact he STILL couldn't grasp it. you write so beautifully that it upset me to the point i couldn't even review until now, nearly a day later and i felt the urge to go read some silly, dreamy ulquihime story to get the bitter taste out of my mouth(tho, i didn't, lol)

the descriptions of the characters, w/ grimmjow's scent of hell and the way the earth was scolded at his feet, the way orihime was so forgiving, the way ulquiorra slid silently in and out of the shadows, quiet and creepily indifferent. i still don't have words to fit the praise i have for this fic and i don't think i ever will. something so original, yet so true to the heart of the characters left me amazed and bedazzled. i can only wish the best of luck to you in whatever your endevours and thank you for such a beautiful peice of fiction and staying true to the ending YOU believed was right, not what the general population would have wanted to see.
PhoenixBlade chapter 3 . 1/10/2012
Aw...I am saddened that it ended so quickly, but it was a great story... Probably could have gone on for another twenty chapters too probably, but alas, all's well that ends well...well, not so much in this case. Yet your story leaves a somewhat bittersweet taste in my mouth... but lingers. Gooooooooooooood story!
