I love Sano fics

A good a reason for Sano to leave. Nice drabble.

It's nice to see this addressed, but although I think you have hit the nail on the head with how Sanosuke would feel about why he left, I don't think he was being selfish. My impression is that Sano just had a kind of breakdown himself after Kaoru's "death." Kenshin just laid down to die-it's not surprising Sano would be hit pretty hard too. At least it wasn't as bad as Aoshi's breakdown, where he actually turned on his friends.

the portrayal of the fuzzier sides of yahiko and sano were well done, and the simplistic, elegant descriptions worked to your advantage.
