 sacredorchids chapter 4 . 6/6/2019 I'm trying to figure out how bella is a selfish bitch for not having her dad pay for her wedding. The wedding is about her and Edward's love, not Charlie's pride. I honestly hate when dads do this, try and make the funding of a wedding a competition to show who is in charge rather than letting their kids call the shots. Plus, the Cullen's are filthy rich, a wedding won't put a financial strain on them the way it would Charlie. Let them burn their money while Charlie keeps his in his pocket. Leah is talking about selfishness, and yet she's insisting that bella and Edward have the wedding Charlie can afford to protect his ego, rather than the wedding they want, that they can have through Edward's parents. That's selfish and silly. She caught an attitude over CAKE. I love her but she is the wrong one in this situation, although Alice and Renee are probably bigger assholes from the glimpse we got of them. |
