Sorry i really need to rant here and not because of you only, read it in a lot of fanfics and driving me crazy!
Wtf is wrong with the writers so dumb or quick to forget, or is harry really a dumb and stupid! Going back in time with knowlegde to freaking stop things from happening.
noooo... let's hermione go face the troll all over again! even if she has her future knowlegde as wel this is bloody dumb to write or is it just fate fixed point?
-He freaking sees that somebody does something with his owl and does nothing!
-Waits freaking way to long to unbind his magic wtf?
-here the manipulations is plain to see mosty with freaking moron Ron! what does harry do, absolutly nothing and wait weeks/months?
-Freaking adoption in magical world goes way to long.
-Most of all hermione comes also back.. not getting mad at him getting killed, not saying love you back. Oh wait 7 more years then i cancel being potter-granger.. what they wont date all that time then and you call this a romance fanfic?

clearly story is stopped, still some really needs the read there work over it's freaking frustrating annoying to see bloody mistakes so dumb or ignorant.

The birthstone stud earring thing seems a bit random but otherwise this seems like a interesting plot.

Doesn't care about the gold?! I can see how he wouldn't care as far as how much gold he had, but I would think he would care very much that the ones that stole it wouldn't get to keep it! Prosecute all of them to the fullest extent of the law!

I like how he dealt with Ron and Malfoy. Why didn't he address his health by going to St. Mungo's for proof of the abuse, counteract the malnourishment, and get the block's and tracking magic removed, then use it as evidence against Dumbles? He could get a solicitor to have his and Hermione's magical guardianship transferred to someone decent. Also, we never saw what was on the report when his vault key was analyzed.

This is nice. I do hope you get back to it at some point, lots of potential. Also, if you do rewrites, please pay attention to spelling of canon names (Giverva-Ginevra, Skitter-Skeeter, etc.) Thanks for a great read so far!
