Yay! This is set in 2003! I immediately scrolled down to review when I saw that. The first time I've seen a crossover set in the 2003 'verse, and I'm super happy! I have only watched that one and have been spoiled too many times for Brotherhood to want to watch it.
Okay, so here's my actual review after reading.
I'm loving this story. It has a great plot and all of my favourite characters (except for one - I'm hoping for a Mustang appearance(s)!) I especially like that Ed is Sasuke reincarnated and the scene where he sees Naruto and Sakura. There are a few vague continuity errors, but people have already pointed that out, so I won't go too into depth.
All in all, really well written and well executed so far. Great job!

This is great! It's the best story i've found in the naruto and FMA crossover section..
Btw I loved the part about Itachi being Mustand .

I know you're revising this, so I hope you don't mind if I point out a few things when I review.

Firstly, why exactly would Sasuke's death be considered murder? He's a missing-nin, and Sakura is a kunoichi. Killing is in the job description, y'know? Yes, Sasuke's former friends would have been slightly sad over his death, and Sakura would still be heartbroken over having killed her first love, but according to the laws of Naruto-verse, this death wouldn't count as murder at all — the Hokage would have commended her for a job well done, and she would most likely have been considered a village hero.

Secondly, I feel that all these characters are slightly OOC, though I can't seem to really put my finger on how, exactly.

Sakura's theory on how Ed could be Sasuke reincarnated is kind of far-fetched. Just because someone calls her "Pinkie" (which should be capitalised by the way since it is a nickname) it does not mean that they are Sasuke. Her hair is pink, so of course SOMEBODY'S going to end up calling her Pinkie.

Sakura says that Ed acts like Sasuke, but I don't recall Sasuke ever yelling loudly about being short. Sasuke was quiet and broody, with an "I'm-too-cool" kind of attitude. Ed is sullen and kinda sulky, but quick to throw a tantrum when someone mentions (or he thinks someone is mentioning) his height.

Also, Sakura was never "tomboyish". She was through-and-through a girly girl who just so happened to be violent as a kid.

And I'm pretty sure Ino and Sakura kissed and made up shortly after the Chūnin Exams — they're not enemies anymore, just friendly rivals.

Naruto's thoughts on his relationship with Sakura was a nice touch, though, and it should definitely be in your revision, should you ever choose to pick it up again.

It was a good story. I agree with Goodstory's critique however. There were I few places where you did tease things like Ed being able to communicate with Al and Mustang being Itachi that you just dropped in the later chapters. I do think you ended the story to abruptly for as much as you built it up.

Omg that ending was so bitter sweet. I'm glad that everything worked out in the end but I didn't want it to end *cries* it was still awesome :D

sasuke ed? Really? I think naruto fits more as ed

This is good though and even but I like this crossover section Fullmetal Alchemist and Naruto

damn it i really hate sakura.

nit bad but while story focyses on the Ed/Sakura dynamic it's not the pairing for this right?
