You failed miserably... trying to make a PWP! This is great, and is full of tenderness, love and, well, a great plot. Jean's musings are interesting, considering it's the movie universe (though it would be great with a few flashes from the comics, but that's just my opinion).
It's always great to find some good JOTT fic around here; I don't know what happened to this fandom , but it's hard to find nice stories nowadays.

This is very beautifully written. I know there are those that would read this just for the sex and some that may see it as smut, but it is, in my honest opinion, more than that. This shows the honest, loving connection between two people that know and care deeply for each other. Wonderfully done.
Also, yeah, the bit about the counting may have made my heart swell a little. :)
