I hate to break it to you, but Clark also believes in Santa. He doesn't know he isn't real. His parents wrap the presents with lead so he can't see what's inside, and he checks them on Christmas Eve to try to find out what it is. He wouldn't be agreeing with the rest of the league, he would be arguing with them xD

This is sort of a bad lesson. He found out Santas not real and that they shouldn't have lied. Yet they lie again to make him believe. The right thing to do should have told him the truth but showed that you can still have a good christmas without santa. Instead you lie to him again and toy with his emotons and thoughts to believe in something that isn't real.

Also telling kids santa is 100% is actually really hurtful. Alfred should have said "If you believe, then he is real." because it is yrue. If you believe he's real, he's real too you. A good parent never says "Yes he is real" because when they do find out the child wonders why a trusted adult would lie to them.

My parents never told me he was real. But they left out presents and dressed as santa. If i asked theyd say "He is for you"

I know this is nitpicky but no school would debate on if Santa was real. No school would even allow it. Because it's purely the parents choice. Schools don't let you debate if God is real. I know it was a plot thing but it seems really out of place. Having kids tell him he wasn't real without the teacher saying so would have made more sense. It just feels really awkward. No school would say he is or isn't real.

Personally you can never be to old to believe in Santa sometimes even as a adult you need some magic left over from childhood . My favorite mall santa when i was little was awesome he look so real and the bread wasn't fake santa bab was a very sweet old man.
