This was wonderful! Really cute and *them* and fun, and I thought its execution, this possibility for how Saiyaman 2/Saiyagirl came to be, was really rather reasonable. (Plus, I can only think of one other fic I've read that had the same theme to it as this one, so this proved to be a welcomed breath of fresh air.)

As far as characterizations go, Gohan was perfectly in-character (and my goodness was he adorable! I absolutely loved him) and I truthfully don't believe that your portrayal of Videl was far-fetched at all; actually, I think it was more true to her than it wasn't. Pressing close to him and using other intimate means to push him out of his comfort zone (ex: touching his chest) are things that we've kind of seen from her before; it's been made clear time and time again that not only does Videl like to get her way, but that she isn't afraid to work to get what she wants either, and that's just what she's doing here. (In fact, this scene reminds me of one in the series - which occurs in the episode "Camera Shy" I believe, when she and Gohan (as Saiyaman) are being confronted by Sharpner, who was trying to find out what kind of relationship they had - because here, first of all, Videl purposefully speaks in a manner that leaves the real meaning behind her words kind of ambiguous (like when she says that because of all of the crime in Satan city, she and Saiyaman often find themselves in each other's company) and second - after the announcement requesting that all of the contestants gather, and when Gohan is attempting to slip away - she curls her arms around one of his and tucks herself into his side, very blatantly enjoying herself as she throws a cheeky goodbye to Sharpner and leads Gohan along; and while it's true that the scenes between that episode and this fic aren't exact, the point remains that the underlying message beneath both is, and that's (as I've already said) that be it for her advantage or to get her point across, if she's comfortable with an idea and thinks there's a chance it'll work in her favour then she's willing to try it out (and this is meant as a compliment, if you can't tell; the girl's got guts and that's something I love about her).)

Moreover, I like the way you've written this. It's straight-forward and simple, making it easy to read and easy to enjoy, and it's clear that you have a grasp on the characters and on what you're doing, as both Gohan and Videl, the interaction between them and even the humour in this are all very reminiscent to that of the series, and that familiarity was nice.

Anyway, and my rambling aside, this was simply just a very amusing, playful and believable fic, and one that I'm happy I was able to read (especially since it's a tad bit difficult to come across many well-written and creative GV's on this site, making it a definite treat when I happen to find one)!
