Great job, this was a nice little story.

What a great 100th fanfic! This piece was just the right amount of depressing, break-your-heart kind of thing to fit Tick Tick Tick. I liked the description of relating the Barney/Robin failed elopement to a group project. I can totally see Barney liking group projects because he doesn't have to do any work. (I can totally see Marshall yelling at him because of that, too. xD) And I think the fact that Barney did do his own work in this scenario made Robin's failure to pull through even more heartbreaking. Barney was just so mature in that episode.

Also, I liked your explanation of why Barney got with Nora in the first place - that was something I always wondered about. And I liked the last few lines at the end, and the "us" in the middle - the brevity of those sentences in comparision to the paragraphs surrounding them really add to the emotional impact. (I have clearly been thinking too hard about my literature essay. xD) Anyways - wonderful story, and congratulations on reaching your 100th fanfic! That's impressive!
