Ahsoka and Rex are in Star Wars Rebels as members of the Rebel Alliance. Ahsoka makes periodic appearances through transmission to the main characters under the alias of Fulcrum. She makes her first full appearance in the Season One finally. Rex and Wolf don't have their Order 66 chips removed.

Ironically, it was his fault this time: If he had played it cool and let the Stormies do their scan, it is just possible that he and the two 'castaways' that he'd 'rescued' from their disabled shuttle might have been allowed to go on their way. Imperial troops are not known for their initiative and lateral thinking. At the very least, Vader wouldn't have heard about it before Ben and Han could have both laid a dozen false trails and vanished.

Well, it looks like Vader decided to think ahead like a good general would. He'd know Ben's style well enough to be able to predict his most likely next move.

If there was one thing that Anakin should never have forgotten about Ben, it was the dumb luck that seemed to pursue the pair of them all the way across the cosmos.

It's worth remembering that the Rebel Alliance were just that, an alliance of an unknown number of anti-Imperial armed groups. Not all of them were as enlightened as the group led by Mon Mothma and Bail Organa. Indeed some were barely above pirates and some were actually worse than the Empire and were only fighting against them because the idea of anyone except them having power was anathema to them. It really wasn't until the destruction of the first Death Star that the more moderate groups began to unite under Mon Motham's banner and some, like the Corellians, never did so.

It shouldn't be difficult to 'convince' (Force-style) the Imperial captain that they are a merchant crew who was attacked by a pirate. The captain will probably pat himself on the back, drop them off at the nearest space-port world and continue with his patrol (and will send a glowing report about his performance to Coruscant). Naturally, the report will be lost in the bureaucracy.
