In all honesty, I wasn't going to read this at first. The summary sounded nice but this isn't usually the pairing I read but I figured I might as well skim it since the last sentence in your summary was to 'please give it a chance' and I'm rather happy that I decided to listen. This fanfiction is already lovely and I'm quite taken by the character portrayals.

I can imagine Cedric being exactly like this. Sweet, caring just an amazing guy. I love this story

Oh. My. Merlin. I... I'm gonna just go and cry in a corner right now. I can't. This was, among other things, heartbreaking, clever, well-written and, true to its title, bittersweet (although, especially at the end, I felt like it was more cruel than bittersweet, but whatever you see fit :D)
To begin with the beginnings, I really loved how you constructed the puzzle that Cedric sent to Hermione (though for me, the prediction itself from Trelawney was easy enough to guess, so I pretty much figured it out on my own :D), I think it was a very clever solution.
To continue with the end, I... I think I should be furious, because even though we have reached a full circle, in that sense, you were completely right, but to finish something like this in such a cliffhanger-ish way... By cliffhanger, I mean, we have no idea what will happen to Hermione, if she'll ever recover, and... yeah, we don't know what happens next. Don't get me wrong, I loved how you finished on that note, because it was very fitting for the whole story, I just can't stay put when something is not clear :'D
Other than that. The OC Squad (that's how I named your group of random Hufflepuffs) was also a lighthearted point in the story, and then you made me like your characters just enough, and then you killed off half of them. Do you know how cruel you are? :'D
And, well, the whole dream thing and how it was always the maze, it was amazingly built up. I was a bit confused when you wrote Hermione walking towards the maze itself the exact same way, every single time, and Inwas wondering if I was missing something, or am I just rereading the previous chapter, but then I realized. And I think in that perspective, it was rather creative.
Other things. Hermione distancing herself from the other two thirds of the Trio? Plausible. Hermione getting over her crush on Ron after realizing that maybe they weren't meant to be together after all (bonus points for that though, I never actually shipped Romione. Sorry.)? Plausible. And then she developing something slightly more than a crush for a... ghost? Everything is possible in this fandom. Everything. And possibly this is whay made it even better.
I also liked Scott, and the role he played. I love some carefully built OCs, and I have to say, you did a very good job on him. (Oh, and I liked Blaise as well. He's something similar to thos according to my headcanon)
Also, as I mentioned, this was very well-written, which is a rarity among fanfiction nowadays, and you know what? This just might be one of the best (if not The best) Cedmione's I've read. Honestly, thanks for this adventure. It was worth clicking on your story.

I finally got to finish this, after how many years x) I truly love Cedric and Hermione together, and this made me cry buckets of tears (or rather, shot cups of tears). I love how you wrapped it up, but it kinda felt like there could be more after this, y'know that feeling that leaves people hanging on a word or a sentence? That's the one :) Thank you ever so much for completing Bittersweet, and I will forever deem this as one of the many CedHermione fics that I love :)
