I have to agree with PompeyMagnus. The original movie ending would have been more awesome.

It was good. I haven't seen the movie in a while, so I don't know how closely you followed the story, but some things did seem familiar. Anyways, well done.

Oh god... When I first stumbled across this, I nearly creamed my pants. Being a huge fan of both Evangelion AND Fight Club, I was fucking psyched. Seriously, I was almost as excited as when I found the Evangelion/Sin City fic.

Then I thought about it for a few seconds. I fully expected it to suck, and I hoped that I would be pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately I wasn't. Seriously, I was expecting an Eva/Fight Club crossover, and instead I got a shitty rendition of Fight Club using Eva characters. It didn't make it any better that 90% of the dialogue was ripped STRAIGHT from the movie.

A let down of epic proportions. I haven't been this disappointed in a long time.

I loved most of this story, there'd be some things I'd change, but it was good...

For godsakes! Fight Club is supposed to be dark..

I would've really loved the movie ending intact with Asuka holding Shinji's hand after he shot himself as the buildings exploded...

This is a good idea, and you've done it quite well. What screws it up though is that most of the dialouge has been taken straight from 'Fight Club'. If we've seen the movie already then not only do we know whats going to happen (you follow the plot a bit too closesly) but we also know how it's going to be said. Sad yet true.

I rather liked a majority of it, it was well written in teh least. although you got over half of the fucking awesome tyler quotes wrong. Also you should have spent some more time on it and wrote in more detail towards teh end. also using the pill was cheap when teh gun was just so damn cool. having the building not blow up was also cheap. also you had too much fight club and not enough EVA, you seemed to just borrow the characters. still this has given me ideas. I intend to rewrite my own eva fight club fic and make it more graphic and keep all the best quotes and make some of my fuckin own. I liked how you easily switched from one scene to teh next, I'll have to use that. mine was too slow to begin with so I plan to rewrite teh entire fucking thing. I might steal a bit of your stuff, but seeing as yours are almost direct copies off teh movies i don't see how that will metter eh? after I get a bit of writing on this one done I'm gonan bounce soem ideas off ya K? still a well written fic man. good work. kept me entertained for about an hour. after all it is how good the fic is, not the originality that matters now adays anyways... self improvement is masturbation, self destruction is the key...

This is great. Fight Club is one crossover I never would have considered, but its working so goddamn well.

If you only knew how... interesting... the relationship between Tyler and Asuka will be, you would sing a differnt tune. In actuality, it works on so many differnt levels. In my earlier post, I wondered who Tyler would become involved with and I feared it would have been someone else. I should have put more faith in this writer.

The author obviously know's what he's doing.

I eagerly await his next chapter, and encourage you not to give up on this fic yet.
