My god, people, review! This is SO much better than all the other OC stories for Durarara. No joke. I am lovin' this. Izaya, definitely has plans. Shizuo was so cute here...Never thought I'd see that side of him. Realism rocks. No Marysue garbage here, nuh uh!

Whoa, I didn't expect much, but i'm pleasantly surprised. I love Shizuo's part in this chapter...It had me lol'ing quietly to myself all the way through. It was just so...quaint, a stranger trying to awkwardly make conversation with him. And Izaya, form the other chapters...WOW. You got him spot-on. I literally felt the ominous air *shudders* He hasn't done anything yet, but knowing him and his love for humans...he has a few new toys to play with, or rather, break. This is so great, keep updating.

I've never got around to reviewing this story, but HOLY COW. I'm in palpable awe at this ever so great beginning you've got here. The premise has been seen quite a bit, but I can see that you've twisted it up a bit, with literally realistic characters. And they're relatable. We all have family problems, and I like the depth you've invested in your people in such a short amount of time. I cannot wait until you introduce everyone else.

Believe me, everyone is perfect here. Very in-character situations, actions, reactions, responses, all of it. Shizuo and Izaya...darn, it's like you've made a "what-if?" scenario of every fangirl come true, without the unrealistic part. I mean, Izaya rubs everyone the wrong way, and puts you off. Shizuo is rough, but depending on the person, can thaw out if they're patient with him and don't say the wrong thing.

Overall, I love this chapter. And the rest. Don't let the lack of reviews daunt you. It's just like one other reviewer said; you just need to set up a self-made schedule for these things. Like, an update a month? Three weeks? Whatever works for ya.

THIS HAS WICKED POTENTIAL.

I would yell 'Finally!' at the top of my lungs, but i'll refrain from destroying the fourth wall it would create in its wake. I'm not sure if I've ever reviewed this story before, but I had always read it. Yes, I was one of those inscrutable invisible readers, hiding in the shadows like some literary ninja.

In short, I love this story. And ever so thoroughly did I love it...The realism, the main OC isn't some stereotypical kind of person nor annoying and unrealistic, the in-character characters, their fantastic depiction, the scenarios...EVERYTHING. Yet now...

DUDE...Where were the updates? Lol. Seriously now?

I'm enjoying this story immensely, and I truly cannot wait for your next update! This happens to be one of my favorites of its kind, and that doesn't occur very often. And Shizuo IS MOST DEFINITELY in-character you freckle! Why freckle came to mind, I have no idea, but it sounded is Izaya for another matter...to an overwhelming degree, actually. Good job with that by the way. It mad me afraid for her to even be near him lol.

Anyways, if you update more frequently this story is bound to acquire more reviewers: We like the punctuality.

Well, gosh...Probably my favorite, or one of my favorite, Durarara stories yet. And I love that you keep it all natural, from characters to reactions to situations...It's great. And Shizuo wasn't out of character at all, so don't worry! I truly enjoyed the scene with Shizuo and Autumn in the cafe, eating ever so awkwardly.

I'm guessing this growing rift between sisters will become even more apparent due to...some acquaintances we've already met, that may or may not start with an 'I'.

For the record, the chapter wasn't boring. I thought it was entertaining and it was pretty cute quite honestly, seeing Autumn interacting with Shizuo. He is absolutely adorable when he's confused/embarrassed. I do feel a bit bad for Hiromi though after hearing what she did from Aurora.. As well as Autumn having to deal with the consequences of her inaction.
