Good story

Supernatural Fan Fiction Monthly Awards Review:
This a very fine study of John and his state of mind during the period after Sam left for Stanford. You've done a great job in portraying an accurate representation of what must have been his feelings of guilt and anger, as well as the overwhelming protectiveness he must have had for both his sons.
There were, unfortunately, several punctuation and comma misplacement errors, which detracted from the power of your little story. I will say, however, that this tale is refreshing and I'm happy to have been given the chance to read it!

It's rare that I get to read a story in which John Winchester isn't a, if not the, villain. So thank you for that. His voice came through clearly and recognizably. You skillfully combined character study with plot, and there was a keen sense of urgency throughout caused by Dean's injuries. The revelation that at this point John was fighting for Sam rather than revenge particularly caught my interest.

In a few places the punctuation seemed a bit off, and there were some typos. Certain points served as a disconnect from the story, such as when the first person perspective started feeling too casual: e.g. "And did I listen? No Sir!", which didn't come across as very in-character.

Nicely done. Love the train of thoughts running through John's head regarding his sons. Mehr, bitte ;)

This was recommended to me by another reader and I'm very glad to find it, it's a very nicely done job of John's voice and a really lovely job of presenting the terrible dilemmas he found trying to be both hunter and father.

They just rip off the fancy wrappings and boy! isn't the naked truth an ugly bitch without her makeup? Demons, they love to hear their voices. How that bastard went on and on about the high hopes that his big boss Azazel had for my baby boy.- Loved this part, chilling and bitter.

It was the perfect fic to couple with that pic, GREAT job!

Love this story, so dripping with angst, but you can feel the deep love beneath it all!
