I liked the run-on sentences; they added a dimension to it. This story was so sad that my heart is still tight with the pain. The words have woven themselves so that it seems I am Maglor, strangely enough for a story written in third person.

The regret when you talk about the children that were not is the part that really killed me - 'and for a moment he lives them'
