Regarding the 'gators in the last chapter: would one of them by chance be the crazy 'gator dubbed "Pas Tout Là" ("Not All There") from the Swamp People Season 3 episode "Under Siege"? (I think it'd be a good way to discourage guys from trying to cross the moat to peep at the girls.)

You'd think that the USAF officers running the aircraft boneyard at Davis-Monthan AFB would've been a lot more cautious with regards to selling an aircraft that could drop friggin' thermonuclear weapons on targets in Russia from bases in the US to the likes of the Mendo family who, when all is said and done, are only private citizens...

I pray that the Mendo family never got any Mk 17 themernuclear bombs to go with that Peacemaker...

I can safely assume that Negako's grin does not bode well for Ataru's so-called "parents", right?

Chapters 23 & 24: Wow. It looks like just about EVERYONE is getting involved in things. ::chuckles:: This is turning into quite the read. ::nods:: The only odd note that I could find was when "Statue" appeared in the place of "Statue" from time to time. As for those wand wizards, well, they always struck me as a bunch of ninnies who had their boxers in a twist 24/7. ::snickers:: And that includes Moldy Voldy.

These last two chapters have been quite interesting indeed. Hiromi has found some much needed allies among her fellow toshi, and the arrival of the Avalonians to Earth has prompted a much needed coming together of nearly every secret society on the planet to help humanity weather a huge transitional period in it's evolutionary history. Even as they move to deal with a few personal minor mishaps. When will the madness end I ask of you?

Overall this story has been wonderful to read, and I can only hope it's gets better. I'll see you all around the next chapter. Peace out.

P.S. - I've read some of your works on AnimeAddventure, and I noticed that one of the anime thrown into the mix of a few of them was Mai-HiME. Is their a chance that it will be added to this story or a possible "Phoenix From The Ashes" sequel or another separate story?

Ah, Mie-chan, how we have missed you so. Good to see you back in the fold so to speak. Things get interesting as major figures in the Asian underworld pursue their own interests while also taking in their curiosity about the reborn emperor, and a major group of toshi finally decide to search out their ruler.

I never read Sanctuary or Crying Freeman. I saw bits and pieces of CF once when my son rented it years ago. Loved the art in the anime.

Good chapters. In regards to Sanctuary, while I liked the story, the 'Men rule over women' theme was rather annoying and I skimmed over those parts when they showe dup. I don't like Crying Freeman either even though it has good art. The one character I utterly despised in Santuary was the yakuza who made it a habit of raping women and boasting about it, unfortunatly he never got his comeuppance.

Oh man... ::chuckles:: Are things getting intense or are things getting intense? A little more exposure of what happened in the past and a hint of what might happen in the future. All in all, a good read.

chapters 18 & 19 were an AWESOME read. Did the 12 siblings/sisters, perhaps, use "Lonely Souls" as a foundation idea? Poor Ataru... Like those old Morton Salt commercials, it never rains but it pours. Poor kid. ::chuckles::

These last three chapters have been excellent. The Eo Pirates learned what happens when you push this new, more mature Ataru too far, preparations for a rescue misson through time get under way, the idiot parents' children file a very through 'complaint' against their actions, and the Moroboshi family is about to get alot bigger. Personally, I hope you go with the Sister Princess ladies. This is from me finishing watching the anime series a couple of days ago.
