Wolfman-053 chapter 18 . 5/15/2012 And to think: The Final Countdown, as a project, was helped by the fact that VF-84 Jolly Rogers had wanted to make a new carrier operations film for the National Air and Space Museum... |
Wolfman-053 chapter 11 . 5/15/2012 Regarding the 'gators in the last chapter: would one of them by chance be the crazy 'gator dubbed "Pas Tout Là" ("Not All There") from the Swamp People Season 3 episode "Under Siege"? (I think it'd be a good way to discourage guys from trying to cross the moat to peep at the girls.) |
Wolfman-053 chapter 10 . 1/16/2012 You'd think that the USAF officers running the aircraft boneyard at Davis-Monthan AFB would've been a lot more cautious with regards to selling an aircraft that could drop friggin' thermonuclear weapons on targets in Russia from bases in the US to the likes of the Mendo family who, when all is said and done, are only private citizens... I pray that the Mendo family never got any Mk 17 themernuclear bombs to go with that Peacemaker... |
Wolfman-053 chapter 9 . 1/16/2012 I can safely assume that Negako's grin does not bode well for Ataru's so-called "parents", right? |
Rose1948 chapter 24 . 1/3/2012 Chapters 23 & 24: Wow. It looks like just about EVERYONE is getting involved in things. ::chuckles:: This is turning into quite the read. ::nods:: The only odd note that I could find was when "Statue" appeared in the place of "Statue" from time to time. As for those wand wizards, well, they always struck me as a bunch of ninnies who had their boxers in a twist 24/7. ::snickers:: And that includes Moldy Voldy. As always, looking forward to your next chapter. Thanks for sharing. |
Rose1948 chapter 22 . 1/2/2012 Quite the interesting chapter. Then again, all the chapters are interesting to me. ::chuckles:: Again, I find my lack of familiarity with mangas and/or anime in no way lessens my enjoyment. In fact, it probably enhances things. Then again, as I've stated before, I'm weird like that. Thanks for sharing. |
Rashaan Butler chapter 23 . 1/2/2012 These last two chapters have been quite interesting indeed. Hiromi has found some much needed allies among her fellow toshi, and the arrival of the Avalonians to Earth has prompted a much needed coming together of nearly every secret society on the planet to help humanity weather a huge transitional period in it's evolutionary history. Even as they move to deal with a few personal minor mishaps. When will the madness end I ask of you? Overall this story has been wonderful to read, and I can only hope it's gets better. I'll see you all around the next chapter. Peace out. P.S. - I've read some of your works on AnimeAddventure, and I noticed that one of the anime thrown into the mix of a few of them was Mai-HiME. Is their a chance that it will be added to this story or a possible "Phoenix From The Ashes" sequel or another separate story? |
Rashaan Butler chapter 21 . 12/28/2011 Ah, Mie-chan, how we have missed you so. Good to see you back in the fold so to speak. Things get interesting as major figures in the Asian underworld pursue their own interests while also taking in their curiosity about the reborn emperor, and a major group of toshi finally decide to search out their ruler. These last two chapters are excellent. Can't wait to see what happens next. Peace out. |
Rose1948 chapter 21 . 12/28/2011 I never read Sanctuary or Crying Freeman. I saw bits and pieces of CF once when my son rented it years ago. Loved the art in the anime. Thoughtful story, hon. Thanks for sharing. |
Gogmagog chapter 21 . 12/28/2011 Good chapters. In regards to Sanctuary, while I liked the story, the 'Men rule over women' theme was rather annoying and I skimmed over those parts when they showe dup. I don't like Crying Freeman either even though it has good art. The one character I utterly despised in Santuary was the yakuza who made it a habit of raping women and boasting about it, unfortunatly he never got his comeuppance. |
Rose1948 chapter 20 . 12/22/2011 Oh man... ::chuckles:: Are things getting intense or are things getting intense? A little more exposure of what happened in the past and a hint of what might happen in the future. All in all, a good read. |
Rose1948 chapter 19 . 12/21/2011 chapters 18 & 19 were an AWESOME read. Did the 12 siblings/sisters, perhaps, use "Lonely Souls" as a foundation idea? Poor Ataru... Like those old Morton Salt commercials, it never rains but it pours. Poor kid. ::chuckles:: Take care and, as always, thanks for sharing. |
Rashaan Butler chapter 19 . 12/21/2011 These last three chapters have been excellent. The Eo Pirates learned what happens when you push this new, more mature Ataru too far, preparations for a rescue misson through time get under way, the idiot parents' children file a very through 'complaint' against their actions, and the Moroboshi family is about to get alot bigger. Personally, I hope you go with the Sister Princess ladies. This is from me finishing watching the anime series a couple of days ago. Hope the next chapters are up soon. I see you then. Peace out! |
Rose1948 chapter 17 . 12/18/2011 Wow. Well-written and seasoned with a bit of angst. |
Rose1948 chapter 16 . 12/18/2011 ::chuckles:: Wow. Otako's quite the stubborn lady. I can understand wanting to do things for one's self as much as possible. However, for me, there are times when I -have- to ask for help as some things are physically impossible for me to do safely anymore. ::nods:: But yeah. Not wanting to be a bother is one of MY "prime directives." ::laughs:: Ooo! The Eternal voyager sounds fascinating! As do some of the things covered in your notes at the bottom. Stinker. You always find ways to slip me even -more- things to read, don't you? ::grins:: |
