You really can write anything can't you? Hmm, I am tempted to make a request for another fic featuring these two, but I am guessing you enjoy their genderbent pairing far too much so I won't push it.
I'm not entirely sure if facing a fear head on is entirely the best way to solve it but it seems to work for them doesn't it?

I think it's incredible how you can master both Prince Gumball and Marshall Lee while making them similar enough but not the same as Princess Bubblegum and Marceline, you know? Reading that back, it doesn't make a lot of sense - what I'm trying to say is that you write all four of them very distinctly without them seeming like male/female versions of themselves. If you understand at all what I'm saying.

... Anyway this was fabulous and I encourage you to write more of these two because there definitely isn't enough quality fics for them and you are the best of the best.
