Finished the entire work. I hope we see an update soon as this has been really fun to read and I am pretty excited to find out more. Let's see the aftermath of the vampire attack, more Harry-James bonding(I've mentioned it in my previous review as well but damn it I want to see some love).

I've definitely been hooked onto this war and am definitely curious to find out more. I definitely want to see more Harry-James interaction. Would be nice to see their family dynamic.
Let's hope we finally do somethin about Sirius.
Apart from that, the plot seems original and we see a rather interesting AU that definitely has me hooked. Always refreshing to read a different year instead of a canon rehash.
I am going to keep following this and hope to see where it leads.

Still can't understand what happened to Sirius

Lots of fun. I’ve only now re found your story to read your latest chapter. I’m definitely curious to see where you are taking the plot.

Why is Harry running over the roof to visit the Arbiter's Vault when he has a stash of broomsticks and knows how to shrink them?
Why is Harry just accepting being tortured by a Blood Quill when he and by extension his father as an Auror, would know they are illegal?
Why was Sirius kissed when James was alive and why were there Dementors at Hogworts to drive off in the first place?
Why did James not prevent Harry being used for the Tri-wizard when harry was still a minor (wasn't the whole premis of the cup story based on the supposed fact that as Harry's Magical Guardian Albus Dumbledoor did not contest his participation)?
Given that Sirius was kissed, there is no reason to assume that Harry would not have been named his heir (as in cannon). With the Black and Potter wealth it is very hard to beleive that James would not take his last remaining family out of Hogworts and the Country!
Just some observations from memory (there are others) of this first chapter.
Your Harry appears at the moment, somewhat lacking the definition of an intelligent Ravenclaw

Seemed nice right up till hermoine found the vault, I feel somethings should be kept ultra personal, especially since he's dealing with people he doesn't know and a dark lord running around, that room and it's secrets are supposed to be his trump card or at least a fighting chance against Voldemort and in an attempt to force some friendship with hermoine you gave her one of his biggest secrets..legilimency exists ?
And yes I'm aware this is a stylistic decision and where your story is going, I'm just not feeling it.

I quite appreciate the writing of this story, but one of its main conflicts makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. That is, of course, the imprisonment and ultimate Kissing of Sirius Black. It is known that James Potter (who helped switch Secret Keepers from Black to Pettigrew) remains alive. Surely he would have ensured his brother-in-all-but-blood was actually tried, instead of just locked away? He was in on the swap after all.

Aside from that one major hole in this narrative, this is wonderfully written and I have greatly enjoyed it so far. Cheers.
