Loud Mucker Complex chapter 1 . 12/22/2011
O-oh my God.

I couldn't help but cry.

I-I mean, it's just so beautiful and sad, and... I don't know. It's just... I could imagine every details written and... Gosh I can't stop crying. It's really beautiful that my heart ache. Oh my God. Thank you for making such a beautiful story. I love it. I really love the way you described Gilbert's death. Oh God. I could feel his sorrow. And I really love the way you described his feeling about his people didn't want him anymore. It's just... SO, SO SAD.

Ohh. I love this. I really do.
BlushinPrussian chapter 1 . 11/15/2011
I'm not gonna lie, I just about cried myself to sleep at around 12AM after reading this. Usually that doesn't happen unless I read a well written story about the dissolution of Prussia(which I found to be VERY hard to find nowadays). Anyways, I'll try to sum up my thoughts and get to the point. :)

What I find interesting about this piece is that it enables readers to envision each and every scene since the details are incorporated stylishly. That being said, there are no awkward moments where the scene is ruined by unnecessary descriptions. Intro DEFINITELY grabs attention and supports the conflict that arises later. How you separate both Russia and Prussia(as individuals) is excellent because their fears are displayed through their words and actions perfectly. I like how in the end they both develop some sort of mutual bond regarding their current situation and how, in their own way, try to cheer each other up. I felt sorry for Gilbert when he admits that he would have accepted Ivan's affection because it gave me the impression that deep down he was(most likely) lonely hence why he fought him constantly in order to gain some form of attention. I love these two as a pairing as well so I was sad to see that their time was short and Ivan never got a chance to form something deeper with Gilbert. But alas, the way they parted ways was touching and created a beautifully tragic exit. Lastly, I was blown away by Gilbert's determination to make it home before it was too late. It was brilliant! You managed to successfully keep him in character and brought out the best of his undying pride which made his death that much more beautifully sad. I also like your reasoning for his death instead of the cliche theme like, 'Berlin Wall falls the end!' since you focused more on the 'people's' need for change and the fact that Prussia was ok with it. It broke my heart that he couldn't make it but somehow it was fitting(?) since he was able to pass on peacefully. Even though I still cried like a wimp XD...lol So THANK YOU for creating such a touching story and I'm REALLY sorry for gushing out word vomit at you!~ Keep up the GREAT work! ;D

A very good story. Kind of rare to read a so descriptive story here at , people (myself included) tend not to focus on the same things you did.. - I enjoyed every sentence.
