Intriguing story, you show lots of creativity. Yikes, I'm glad Rochelle escapes. She was the first to stand up for Linda in the original novel when she told Wendy off, saying it would be no real trial unless Linda had a defense lawyer. Also, the guest writer provides a good point about Kenny. And where is Donna Davidson?

Where's Kenny? He was the only kid who really seemed to like Linda. I'm surprised he's not around.

It's about time a TV movie was made of Blubber; and, then, a sequel in the form of a horror-movie: at Halloween, years later, a glamorous grown-up Linda could track down Jill, Wendy & Caroline...

I love this story! It is so relatable to the book and a refreshing sequal of the story we would all like to see continue.

Poor Rochelle. Tracy's right - Linda is not the same girl from fifth grade. I still think it was wrong to do anything to Tracy, because she wasn't involved. If I was to exact revenge, I'd just expose Wendy for the bitchy fraud and the ringleader.

Well Linda's got herself in a funny predicament now. I do hope she manages some way to blackmail/bribe Rochelle. Yes I bet I sound like an evil reviewer, edging Linda on to do bad things, but it's just that she was so teased and bullied in the books. I as a reader want her to succeed for once.

Anyway, loved this chapter, loved the writing, the characterizations, and I notice this story hasn't been updated in about a year and a bit.

Not even sure if you're still on fanfiction net now, or you'll be seeing this, but it's a great story and I'd love to see it updated!

Interesting start and ending, I like how you're using similar characters, and I think I have an idea what Linda's planning. Is she going to slip the compact in Wendy's locker to make it seem like Wendy stole it? is she going to do the same with Jill's make up?

Wow, I've just read Blubber (the book) and I came to find fanfictions about it. Unfortunately there was only one (this one), but it's wayy good!

The way you captured Linda Fisher was realistic, and fit in with the book so well. I'm interested to see what Linda will do, and after reading Blubber and seeing the mean way she was treated, I hope she gets them back true and hard!

Neat! Very awesome, as well as very well-written, too. Plus, I agree with SideshowJazz1 about Wendy, too. She was never punished for her actions, and she should've; plus, she should've learned that words can hurt, and that they cut deeper than a knife or a switchblade, too. (Sooner or later, almost every bully gets what's coming to him or her.)

I remember reading the book Blubber once after I bought it at Barnes and Noble one day, and I think it's a great book. Plus, I remember being bullied three times - once in middle school, and twice in high school. But I got over that, thankfully, and I hope that those who are being bullied, whether they're famous or not, will be able to survive going through school as I did.

WHOA!I've heard of payback being (well,you know the saying...)but I think Linda went WAY too far by putting drugs in the girls' things is a bit much.

(I read the book "Blubber" as a kid & was pretty much teased the way Linda was in school except *I* was teased in 7th grade but different circumstances.I myself would NEVER have done that to people who had teased me. To be honest, I'd be afraid of getting caught.)
