I love this story so much! I absolutely adore any stories with young Joe but especially those stories, like this, where we get to see Joe angst and his family being caring and protective of him. I always feel like I'm right there in the story the way you capture each scene. I am definitely looking forward to see what other things you come up with in the story!

Love the updated version! Amazing job...as always! I love how Joe's family loves him so much...all the tender moments together. Hoss tickling Joe, Pa having a talk to Joe before the trip...such awesome family moments. My heart yearns for more of Adam but I do love the way Hoss and Joe have their time together. I like an injured Joe for his family to care for ...Im evil like that lol...so him having to get stitches shows his injury isnt just some scratches...love it! I am DEFINITELY looking forward to all of those stories to come!

I feel like I just ran a marathon...no really, my heart has been racing for most of this story! Soooooo much angst that I was afraid I might pass out! I love how protective Ben is! Such an Incredible story! How the heck do you come up with all these ideas!? Yep, you are definitely the queen of angst...I love it! And oh my...the ending!

Finally finished your epic! Wow. Thanks for an interesting read. Your tale was certainly well thought out and you created a great villain. Poor Little Joe! I write Bonanza too. We're both in the Boomers library. I always look for SJS and JPM stories and you served both up in spades!

This was a great story despite some grievous errors in spelling, use of homonyms, cognates, and use of the wrong system of weights and measurements...as a scientist I used the metric system, however the American cowboy would not...this was somewhat disconcerting in the 1st two chapters. That being said...

This a very well-told/well-written story. The narrative holds the reader in its grip throughout the story...we witness the acts of a sadistic villain and accomplices, the kidnapping, the escape, the brutal acts of intimidation, the trial, recovery of Little Joe's soul and restoration of the Cartwright family unit...well done!

I cannot possibly describe how much I enjoyed your story. It was just right, not too short with lack of details, not too long to get bogged down with unimportant information. I wanted to read it straight through after sending my comment after part one now I can tell you what a great author/ story teller you are! Thank you for sharing your talent with your readers! ( I hope you're still writing and reading your feedback to let you know how much you are admired.
