When I first played Heavy Rain, my favorite character fastly became Norman Jayden. However, I always thought they could have explored his story in a better way and shown his emotional side, show that he also has feelings as everyone does. Your fanfic managed to do that! I always wished Ethan and Norman would become friends after the Origami Killer case and to see Shaun calling Jayden "Uncle" made me jump from happiness
