Thank you for sharing a very good story. I really enjoyed the banter between the two brothers and how it changed in front of Mummy.

This was really interesting. The pressure that Sherlock and Mycroft each had on themselves could help explain their dynamic now. I felt really sorry for both of them, it's odd because neither of those characters usually invite pity or sympathy by their demeanor, but they're both such mysteries.

Okay, I have to admit to not being very impressed by Mycroft's surveillance so far. He does not seem to be able to keep his little brother out of trouble (a difficult feat I must admit) and John and Sarah were kidnapped right from the flat. If he noticed, his response time must not be very quick.

Still, I look forward to seeing more of him in season 2.

Absolutely loved this story! I think you've kept everyone in character and I laughed out loud at:

"Fine, thank you," Mycroft snapped. "I do have self-control. Unlike some people."

"Wouldn't have guessed," Sherlock replied smoothly. "Seems more like you control everything but yourself."

Genius! And I loved the fact that both brothers seem to love their mother enough that they would put aside their feud for a few moments just to please her. At least it's something that they both agree on :P

Could you write the Christmas dinner, pretty please *puppy eyes*? I would love to see how much worse this could get XD
