Well, I've reviewed the reviews here, and can still swear I've commented about this Good Story one way or another, and realize it was on archive of our own. So, as of now, still nothing new since 2015? Try using what is going on in the world now, and try going from there.
The loss of Barry Frost (by the death of Lee Thompson Young-2013), various international incidents for other countries (Russian annexation of Crimea after the Sochi Olympics-2014)&(MH370), Fukushima accident-2011, Zika Virus before 2018 Rio Olympics (and there have been other biological events since 2010 to show up and affect world travel, so...)
You could shift and compress timelines; be on vacation for a month our time, with e-mails and skype once a week? Ha. Whole parts of our world curtail or outright deny communication from party A with other parts, depending on whom party B is.
When the girls do finally make contact with Boston/home, lets say its been 4 or 5 weeks since the wedding. Everyone will be worried for the girls, as not "knowing" anything will do that, and will certainly understand why Jane and Maura have been dark, considering Our World NOW!
Now, this means 4 or 5 years for them there... what have they been doing? Well, the first main event should be their formal presentation, Likely dealing with the odd mayhem caused by more Zunuluths, and if Laird Raven is asked for help by some Fey in the neighboring Kingdom after oh, lets say a trade convention, and gives her word, then be informed in a message from Marcus about Barry Frost's death, well, she gave her word. Timing and events keep pushing things back.
Just this last week or so we saw on the news about a little boy who finally got his dad back home after being separated for months, and another husband and father, who already had to have a leg amputated over the course of his hospital stay, finally succumb to Covid-19 after some 95 days.
So many places to be, Tournaments to compete in, sights and wonders...

I've enjoyed reading this story again! It is well written and I really like your imagination and your ability to have your readers imagine it as well. I really hope you will finish this story eventually. I'm curious to see if Maura will receive a physical challenge of some sort? What will happen if/when they return to Boston?

It’s been five years and I’m still hopeful that you’ll update your story.
The story is so very much fun, filled with creativity. The concept is unique and fanciful. The creatures are a mix of folklore characters, ancient mythological creatures and novel personalities.
The story flows and is a very pleasant read, it’s funny, sentimental, filled with positivity, loyalty and affection.
I’ve read this story several times. So much more to experience?

Love this story but it does kinda bug me that Maura is painted as the weaker one. Shes a queen and a wolf she should be almost if not equal to Jane in power and strength and fighting ability. How will she be respected as a leader and what will she do when shes by herself?

Hello author! After many years i keep re-reading this. It’s still amazing to me how you convey their love and affection for each other. Can’t help falling in love with them over and over again. Finished or not, this is still one of my favourites.
