A pipe dream at best but this story is amazing and an update would be phenomenal. But after four years it’s a pipe dream to hope for another chapter. And yet here I am hoping to see one. Chell and co slowly coming to grips with a new world while GLaDOS is clinging to life in such a way she finally learns to be properly alive. If only there was more

Normally I don't like having multiple POV's, but this one is doing a great job at keeping me interested!
This is my kind of genre :D
Terror, angst, etc.
But a happy end is always needed, or else my mind will go insane thinking about alternatives XD

Upon a second read-through, and after reading iammemyself's fic inspired by yours, I've figured out why I like your portrayal of GLaDOS so much: you've established that even though Caroline's human behaviors are a part of her now, Caroline herself isn't. The AI having to grapple with a human side without actually having said human in her programming any longer makes this twice as intriguing, to me at least. I hope I interpreted your work correctly!
Incidentally, in the games, we never hear anyone call her "glah-dose" even though the abbreviation is written everywhere. If Chell heard the acronym out loud, but didn't read it, would she realize that it referred to the AI?

Ooh, so intense! But really , really good. I don't think I've read another fic portraying Chell as being of university age.
I adore what you're doing to GLaDOS. I... No words. It's just brilliant. She has an imaginary Chell! And said imaginary Chell pushes her to be better; this proves in my mind that they are rivals, not enemies.
I'm not sure I understood the thing about Wheatley in the first chapter. Was that supposed to be a dream? I've been entertaining the idea of him having escaped the treadmill and lolly gagging about the facility since then. But that problably isn't what happened. It was a hilarious dream, though.
I know updates take time, but you can bet I'll be here when the next one comes!
