This story is amazing. I love watching the gradual shift and the change in feelings, emotions and relationships. It's so similar to life when over time feelings change and you can't remember how it happened!
You wrestle so intuitively with the topic of counselling, capturing the emotional rollercoaster so so well.
I love the first scene of them both at the Manor.
And great to have the interplay between their relationship and the curse.

Wow this is an incredible story. You capture the emotions so well, and the up and down of conversations when they get heated or tense quickly. I feel like I've been living this story with the characters.
My apologies for reading so far and only now giving a review. My only excuse is it is a phenomenal story and I got swept along! It's one of the best stories I've read in a long time.

I appreciate this story but recovery from a war and 6 other years of torment will resolve itself so quickly. I really like the story but it is not realistic with the amount of hatred and resistance she displays. She also did not receive any support from her support system.

Everyone shut her down did not acknowledge that her feelings could be valid. Therapeutically people need be acknowledged. This story could be amazing if given many more in depth look at her trauma and working through someone the more obvious pain she is experiencing.

This is AMAZING

Absolutely loved this fic. At the beginning I was a bit unsure of Hermione’s deep hatred for all Slytherins, but quickly realized that it was a cause of her PTSD from the war. I’m happy you touched upon this and explained how other’s had to go to counseling in order to get the help they needed. Something like the war isn’t something you can get over overnight and I think a lot of authors don’t pay enough attention to that and it stifles the character development.

I like the idea of Hermione having leftover PTSD from the war, but I don't think her channeling that hate at Slytherin students seems very realistic for her. I think she would channel at something else, it just seems really out of character for her.
