I stumbled across this story and I'm glad I did. It's so well-written! I love how Dave and Kurt share parental responsibility, foreshadowing much, much more...
Clever details (like real locations in the REAL Lima, Ohio, like Old Barn Out Back and Somewhere in Time) help make this really believable. I've used real locations in the real Lima, Ohio too, in my stories - like Teddy Bear Park and Faurot Park. Good idea to use real locations.

Holy crap I laughed so hard! That was simply INSPIRED!

Okay, I have two favourite lines and they make me wish had a damn like button:

1. "Are you going to start singing? I refuse to have a singing conversation with you."

For some reason the singing conversation bit just made me thing of those songs you get in musicals that are, y'know, conversations...or maybe their conversations that are songs - whatever, I had a total giggleriot because my brain briefly went to a place where Santana and Dave sang their convo to each other over the phone. It was brilliant :D

2. 'special gay snowflake'

This phrase is made of rainbows and puppies and joyful things.
