It's always heart wrenching to say good-bye, but knowing you'll be with your loved ones in the end makes the pain a little more bearable. To have Fiona end it for Thora and save her the torment the darkspawn would surely put her through was, by far, a most fulfilling "ending."

Beautiful and sad and laced with melancholy. So wonderful to revisit this pair though. :)

Loved it! I am fairly new to the Dragon Age universe, and I already read your 'Fate' series. Loved it so much! Was so happy to see this update today!

Awwwwwww, how very sweet. Nice juxtaposition of the creeping horror Alistair feels in the dream with the relief and love when he wakes up. Don't think I'd go back to sleep either!

The descriptive horror of the nightmare was wonderfully done, but I love the realization of the comfort that he finds in Thora's presence, too. A very fitting story for Halloween, with some lovely Thora and Alistair to boot. :)

A terrifically unique, vivid, taint-fueled nightmare - I really liked the internal horror instead of the external as a nod to the season. Also that the deepest impulse that both of them have is for the preservation of each other's mind and humanity, rather than the corporeal shell. Lovely and harrowing all at once.

Please keep these going! I just found the story this week and read it all. I must say the last chapter had me so emotional! Very very well written ending. So appropriate for them all. Thank you for sharing this wonderful work.
