I am behind in the times as I just now seen the movie for the first time. But, I totally agree with the sequel idea. I've seen many memes and such bashing Nick Cage and have never understood why. I find him as addicting to watch as Johnny Depp. I haven't seen many movies with him in it, but his characters always draw me in. There's always this quirky intensity to them.
Anyway, I totally loved this story. It filled me with multitudes of warm fuzzies.

I COMPLETELY AGREE THAT THEY SHOULD MAKE A SEQUEL! Anyways, this was a great fic- I loved the interactions between Balthazar and Dave, and found it rather entertaining how it all started. It was a cute little piece, and the ending was good too. Overall, good job! Thanks for posting and Bravo!
